Next year qb

If our only QB in the portal this year is Bailey, it will be very disappointing. If you want to bring him on board to stash him for a year or so, fine. To be our starter next year? Not the answer.

I’ll be surprised if Reese was here after this season.

If getting Bailey somehow convinces Smith to transfer, then get Bailey to be the starter next year. But if it's a choice between Bailey or Mateer, I'd take Mateer over him. I think Mateer is more capable than Bailey of doing what Ward did and carrying the team on his back. IMO, Bailey is going to need a better supporting cast then we currently have.

Not sure if there's a realistic shot but would love to go pick Washington states pocket for their current QB. Didnt realize he was putting together a really nice season. Big time running threat too

Didn't realize Thomas Castellanos has bad knees. That would explain why his rushing yards is so off. He went from over 1k yards last season to only 194 rushing yds this year.

I still think Bill O Brien handcuffed him

I don’t think Castellanos is a bum but he’s not a quarterback at a serious program

FSU needs a Cam Ward so if they get Castellanos they’re not getting any better next year and they can’t recruit for **** so it’s beautiful really

Can you tell me why CJ Bailey is better than Emory Williams?

I am not trying to debate here, just to hear what your opinion is.
No clue brother. Apparently CJ is doing pretty well as a true freshman. Only thing I know about CJ is that he's a gamer.

Whether we'll ultimately sign him, I don't know. I know they're interested though.

Let's not forget, a mere 11 months ago, half this board said they didn't want a turnover machine gimmick quarterback from a ****** conference who couldn't even win 7 games named Cameron Ward.
I love your work, man, but are we seriously comparing CJ Bailey to Cam Ward?

great question...

Emory will have two years of experience in the system with a couple quality starts and some success. []__[] have a lot invested with him & vice versa.

IMO it would be hard for anyone without a demonstrably superior skillset to transfer in and beat him for the job, but if a guy does then Miami is all the better for it.

Experience in the system doesn’t mean anything if you just ain’t good enough
