New season...new enthusiam.

Every year, we wonder are we finally going to get it together. Well, every new season, I get pumped up and despite last year's demise and my awful drive back from the bowl game, I',m estatic about the upcoming season. For the first time in a while, I'm going back and looking at the 2001/02 team and not feeling bad about how different the talent level was. We are in no way at that level yet, but I feel we are getting closer than we have been in a long time. I know I will probably get ridiculed for this post and it's been said by others in some shape or form, but I don't post often and just needed to share my enthusiams. See you at Sunlife Stadium to cheer on them Canes.

I was on campus 2 days ago. I chatted some with Sonny and Deon. Also saw a couple other current players as well as taking a picture with DVD, Spence, Forston, and Miller. I'm excited as anyone for what the team has done this off season. They are all ready to go.

Obviously all this remains to be seen but we have every reason to be excited.

I would be shocked if we weren't in the national title race next season. Golden has been quietly amassing a stockpile of talent and depth on this team...under ridiculous conditions and with so many distractions at that.

Yes sir! I agree! It's time to get them ready- no excuses- especially no throwing the players out under the bus. He gets paid a couple million to maximize the talent. With this team, maximizing the talent gets us a 12-0 or 11-1 season depending on the FSU game and it would be a close one.

We are good coaching away from a National Title! If Golden and his staff can get it all together- we are a contender. Talent is not an issue anymore.

Golden has proven that he can build a program. Temple was a ******* joke before he coached there. And here, he has amassed talent in 3 years, except maybe on the DL but we have enough there. Lol @ 3 years away

Let's keep the good vibes flowing, champ! Take a leadership role and move this board to where it belongs. Don't fall into the abyss of negativity that has swallowed too many of our great posters. Extend a hand and pull them from that dastardly chasm.
