See that's what I don't get. Campbell said a few days ago she felt a lean to FSU but Bakas says Miami and Alabama is 2nd with FSU way back.

Cant blame him if he picks Bama. But if he picks FSU after all the coaches they've lost on defense, then that just tells me we were never really in it.

Yeah, what she said was: "I've been thinking FSU or Miami for awhile with this one and this is the first time I felt he was just a bit more excited about Florida State just based on the way he talked about each visit."

That was two weeks ago regarding an article she wrote on MT.

The whole, "Matthew Thomas was never considering Miami" is straight bull****

He does things of his own volition that point to the contrary

He doesn't have to throw up 305 on the regular
He doesn't have to throw the U up to plzwork at the UA game
Didn't have to post convo's with Golden and Co. on facebook
Didn't have to roll around with a UM beanie and take a picture with it
Didn't have to be at Cane games rooting for UM
Chad Thomas, who by all accounts is closer to em than anyone, has been saying Miami forever

None of that **** points to, nah I ain't really feelin them. His mamma has made it clear where she wants him regardless of that dumbass interview that Ice Harris did. Mamma rolling around UA Practice with Canes gear on. Mamma telling everybody that she wants him to stay home for the last year. Mamma says she wants to be able to see his games and Matthew has stated that he wants her to see him play and the only time she seen em play in his life, the **** was bawlin his eyes out.

Nah man, I ain't tryna hear that "he wasn't never interested in Miami and we pushed him to consider Miami" bologna. Y'all put him on a flight to Cali when y'all could have had him in Coral Gables so that **** don't fly. We ain't out of this yet. Trust in AG.
 
if we ever pulled 6 and jermaine grace in same class, I would jump through the roof.

I miss that. But I'll take your word for it. Bottom line, I don't think there is a writer out there that knows where he's leaning.

Yeah, all those Alabama LBs are tearing up the NFL right now. I think McClain is racking up stats in the prison league. Meanwhile, even when Miami is down, they still churn out guys like CMac who produce in the league.

Lol I was gonna say, I'm pretty sure the numbers this past season read something like......

61 from Miami to 30 from Bama in the pros this year
6 from Miami in the Pro Bowl to 1 from Bama and no defensive players
 
Alabama is like USC now...great college players but their guys don't translate that well to the proves save for a few. Sucks Sean Spence was injured this year because I have no doubt that guy will be a baller in the league...and a **** of a lot better than Rolando McClain lol.

lets not forget about Jimmy Graham. with Reed and Lewis we will have 8 players in hall of fame. Wilfork, Wayne, and Andre Johnson still have time to stregthen case as does Frank Gore.
 
if y'all read into Shakespeare with so much analysis in between the lines, you would have doctorates from Cambridge by now.

Here's my current thinking on this.

Thomas is gonna make the best decision for his future. He's considering the business decision versus the family decision. Business decision is Alabama. Family decision is Miami, with a little bit of business thrown in there (best education and gets to be coached by a former NFL LB).

I just don't think FSU makes any sense whatsoever.

I'm thinking now he's gonna make the family decision, but we'll see.
