New LB Offer

Watched his film. Plays with fire and likes to hit. Perfect fit for Diaz... er, Banda's system. Anyone we can take from VagTech is ok. And he's a better prospect than Knowles.
Virginia Tech has a better class than we do right now

Surprise surprise, SFL guys aren’t committing to Patke and his infinite knowledge base

Suprise, surprise, more SFL guys have **** on The U in the past few years than ever before. Some of the worst attitudes as far as recruits go. Figure it out man.

A “feeder” school? Lol their top 3 prospects with offers just dipped. You can thank Clappy, Shannon, and Golden for ruining the “feeder” school. Richt is just stagnant there right now.

Nah, Huff definitely 1 of the top 3...Then you get into the Solomons, Munozes, J. Brown's, Carter, etc...

LOL look at UCF for example. They have great coaches and a great quarterback and beat auburn and gone undefeated 2 years in a row with SoFla 3 stars. Imagine if we could lock down south florida wed be unstoppable. Sadly we cant because our coach is mork rorcht

You missed the whole part about south Florida.

news flash people play football outside of SoFla 🤷🏾‍♂️ At this point we can’t get picky with who wants to come here
We've lost a number of games to Virginia teams over the last couple of decades.

Who spoiled our last Orange Bowl game...and who beat us this year.

Yes, they do play some decent HS football in Virginia and the metropolitan DC area. If this guy was first-team All-Met I'm fine with recruiting him.

The only question is, can we pry him away from VA Tech?

That’s the guy I’ve always wanted. I like his film more than Solomon , Brown and the plant city kid. Kid is a top shelf athlete and has pretty good rb film too.

Figures thet never signed off.
Are you talking about Yarde? The VA kid plays RB too.

Not sure about his level of competition, but this kid easily stands out on his tape as step above.

I see people saying that Brothers/Asante are because Shaq/Pinckney are gone. I think it's more of vindication on what the staff thinks about our depth behind them.

Kid was primarily recruited by Bud Foster, so that says a lot

Another poster put me on him a couple of months ago. In his highlights he is dominant against the comp (at both LB and RB). Dude even returns a kickoff for a TD. Seems to have excellent size and athleticism. And he plays like a kid who loves contact.

You're talking about Yarde, I presume.

It seems like there are at least one free quality LBs out there for us to recruit: Yarde, Brothers, Asante.

Thanks, VA. How good is he?

This kid is a **** good player. In addition, he has been very well coached at Westfield. He has played a lot of games the last three years and has played against some very good competition. He should be a solid college football player.

I’m more impressed with Brothers. The guys numbers blow Solomon’s out of the water. This guys tape is pretty good, too. Take them both.

Pass rather get no one. Thought we were pst this with Richt honestly fire him bc the one thing he was supposed to do was recruit and he stinks at that now

If you watch the tape you’ll see why he was offered

Why did we never get in on the 4star lb from img mikel Jones who was 6’2 210 and signed with Syracuse yesterday?

We are too rigid with our numbers...If both are dying to come here, I have a feeling we will only take 1, 1 will just fade away. I hope that's not the case. Stack chips.

I did some research the other day with my son and VA was 7th on the list for which states produce the most college football players. The D.C. region is filled with good athletes from all spectrums of sports. The SFL guys are stuck in the past. Several parts of the country have sharply closed the gap.
