Ray Lewis didn't play in the 80's.... and we are not wearing Russell Athletic jerseys so that point is void. Just b/c you were in college in the 80s doesn't mean that these kids have to hold those teams near and dear to them.... These kids were born in the mid-late 90s, i'm sorry it hurts your feelings that they grew up fans of the Hurricanes in the 2000s.

You should be glad that the Hurricanes in the early 2000s were able to leave an impression on these kids b/c nobody would come to play for Miami if that wasn't the case.

BS! CFB is cyclical and any good coach can come to Miami and win. Golden is proof. Kids come to Miami because of the program as a whole not just because they may have watched a Canes game in their dirty diaper in 2000. And it most certainly has nothing to do with uni's. Anyways, Nike has been over the top in there PRO-COMBAT ALTERNATE versions but they have made some hard looking traditional uniforms.

I'm talking about the Black uniform as an ALTERNATE... not our normal every week Uniforms. I'm sure every game isn't going to be played in the afternoon, and the temperature is going to get more comfortable as we move into the Fall and Winter seasons.

- Having an alternate Black Uniform and an alternate "Throwback" uniform would only be positive progress from the boring Orange on White combination that Miami currently wears ALL the time.
