Old school 80's and 90's look updated please!!! I didn't like the 2001-200? with all of the piping going across the chest and the ghey *** pants stripes that stopped at the mid thigh. I did like the visors that ST and crew was rocking back then, and the black socks and shoes, though. They were cutting edge AND We won, so that's why they are ok to me. They grew on me. Everything else, since then, I've hated (bra-strap, eyebrows, slight color change with our orange, etc.). I did think the smoke grey was a nice change though, EXCEPT they didn't make pants for them and they screwed around with the helmet. Just my .02

There's the rub.

You realize that every variation of our jerseys for the last 13 years has been used for a plethora of other colleges, high schools, etc sometimes as soon as almost immediately after we debuted them.

For example

Lots of you talk about our 2000 to 2003 design but, while I too have a warm spot in my heart for them based off of what we did while we wore them, realize that design has been used a ton by other colleges and high schools.

Nike never gave us our own 'design' like they do with Oregon, and they never gave us subtle variations of our own design, they gave us whatever new design they wanted to push next. They pimped us. And they'll continue to, unless we demand to stick to our own unique 'look'. You know, like most other programs worth a **** do.

Great point, but you are requesting our old unis which was basically my high school jersey, just a different color. They are basic and bland as ****. Not to mention, Oregon's look is not exclusive to them. There are a couple of teams with the feathered helmets and jersey shoulders. What sets Oregon apart are the color variations, not the design itself.

You know what makes a great bad *** tough and cool uniform that will also appeal to recruits?

A bad *** talented as **** team! Last I checked I don't see Bama or fswho or USC or Texas fooling around with their uniforms or design for the most part. There is much value in having a tradition.

Color and design means **** and isn't intimidating, if those great Canes teams wore pink and lavendar they still would've won and intimidated and you guys would be rocking the gear thinking you're so fly and tough lol (me too)
