Coaching Need more Play action fake

Is that low? I honestly don’t know. I figure one out of every four passes has a play fake would be high but I don’t know what the average is.

I think the average is about 30%, so its not crazy low but i think it needs to be meshed and designed better so its not obvious when a run or pass is coming
 
You aren't wrong. The first drive also had a lot of reestablishing the LOS from our OL in the run game.

As a coach, I would have been tempted to run the ball down their throat until they stopped it....which may be a little too logical, since everyone, including our coaches apparently, wants to see Cam running around throwing the ball. (I'm kidding....kind of...). Then, once they were forced to suck up to stop the run...boom...

Easy Cam play action over the top.

We tried 2 the other night and they both got blown up. I'd like to see a middle RB screen. Also agree more PA would be good. I don't think it's a big part of our offense for whatever reason.

Maybe but even on the few play actions we tried they kept their safeties high.

Fair enough, but I would have abused going to that well where they wouldn’t have had a choice. Easy to say, harder to do. We all want a balanced offense…but we were flat wearing the **** out in the run game
