Dear CIS, can we stop comparing 25’ to 17’. They are both mutually exclusive.

Year 4 Mario and we're hearing about a Manny LBer w/ a nasty injury history and minimal burn getting starter reps in the spring? Still a lot of time until August, but that's no bueno.

You saying everything bad. The 247 guys saying 6 guys on the d-line looking good. Baldinger said practice was amazing. But you saying everything terrible so which is it lol

Have the 247 guys been right the past two decades??? Or when Macho said CB’s don’t matter last summer and we’d be perfectly fine, that this defense will be beastly? Board fell for it hook, line and sinker because that’s what y’all WANTED to hear. Not the truth.

You guys fall for the same thing every Spring man…not me. Not this time around. And many others have taken this approach, which has been nice to see from afar. Actual respected posters that aren’t cheerleaders and want this program to be successful, while holding the appropriate people accountable.

Evaluate without a tainted lens, and follow the breadcrumbs. It’s all noise til the Fall comes around…then we’ll see what’s up.

Year 4…at some point, there are no more excuses for missing postseason play. The only questions that remain are whether or not Mario is capable of being more than our Gareth Southgate, and if he’s not, what it will take for even the most blind and biased supporters to concede their agenda.

FWIW, I think he’s capable of learning…but he’s running out of time. He’s been a step too slow each year…at some point, the roster needs to be complete and we can’t have massive deficiencies at multiple positions.

Was that ND OL the one that played against NIU last year and put up about 140 yards rushing and about 300 yards and 14 points total? Quite the offensive attack.

LBers are a disaster unless we get a portal stud or Wiley (TF) and Pruitt step up...I do think Hetherman will turn that position around but this year? If Beck can't go or gets injured, our QB is either a TF or back to Emory or Judd. There are some serious questions concerning this team that could very well be our downfall like last year's secondary. We'll know in about 5 months...

The lake guy is usually honest about if they are hearing dudes aren’t good or not. They basically said the same about LB that’s been said. I don’t never fall for anything. I’m always in wait and see mode.

Mario is doing what I thought he would. He moves at a slow pace but he basically said when he got the job he was going to take his time building. I’m expecting him to upgrade the talent better than what it has been but I don’t think he is going to win a championship here

I wouldn’t rely on an outlier game when that same team was literally the runner-up last year.

This is gonna be a physical, tough game. That’s Mario’s bread and butter, but we need more talent (also Mario’s bread and butter).

Gotta get it done.
