NCAA wrote letter to judge to get Shapiro lighter sentence

With the spotlight on, no way Enforcement can rely on anything Shapiro says without REAL independent corroboration. The NCAA -- long before it could evaluate and confirm Shapiro's veracity -- went to bat for him in federal court at his sentencing hearing. It follows that Nevin had all the motivation in the world to trump up allegations as quid pro quo for the NCAA's help in reducing his sentence. LULZ.

This is a **** of a post.

I wonder how the people that sh1tzero bilked out of a billion dollars feel about the ncaa vouching for the sawed-off scumbag weasel and trying to get his sentence reduced.

"Najjar wrote the letter to Wigenton using NCAA letterhead, and did so when he had the title of director of enforcement. "

I swear, 'Chise, I was going to post this. A great part of this drip campaign (which to date, has been masterful) would be a piece featuring a victim voicing his/her absolute outrage at the NCAA's coddling and support of this scumbag.

The following is a link to the cite where the appellate court affirmed the judge's decision to sentence Shapiro more harshly than his plea deal because the trial judge could not trust anything Shapiro said because he failed to take responsibility for his actions and for "blaming others to soil their reputations.". Sound familiar?

Perez, in a letter to the Florida Bar dated Feb. 21, said she "is not and has never acted, in the capacity of an attorney for the NCAA." She billed the NCAA for about $57,000 for work she performed related to the investigation, and records show she received about one-third that amount.

This is exactly how stupid motherfickers fick themselves even harder than they're already ficked. They make up outlandish statements and try to pitch those statements to reasonably intelligent people. If pig ***** Perez never acted as an attorney for the ncaa, then why did she bill them for $57K, and why did she ax deposition questions that they scripted for her?

When you are caught so red-handed it's best to just fess up, cooperate and look for leniency. When you try to make up stupid ****, it offends people and makes them go after you harder. At the end of the day, I'm glad pig ***** Perez is as dumb as she is because I want to see her BBQ'd.

Is anyone surprised by the LOIC charge anymore? They chose $900 million in fraud over a used washer/dryer and free bowling shoes. Really?

Love it and can't wait...

From the 1995 Sports Illustrated headline "Why the University of Miami Should Drop Football" to a future ESPN 30 for 30 titled "How Donna Shalala and the U Took Down the NCAA".

Exactly, boss. And that's exactly why I brought it up. You and I have been in lock step on this whole thing. It's time to juice up that PR machine a little more and get a Ponzi victim speaking out on the ncaa's latest treachery.

The issue is, that the NCAA couldn't help with the reduction of his sentence. It doesn't work that way. My guess is that Shapiro knew this but was still **** bent on f-ing over Miami.

How could Kenneth Wainstein, investigator NCAA hired to investigate NCAA, miss an NCAA letter on Shapiro's behalf? http://bit.ly/14vnE6Y

UM should bring in some of little mans ponzi scheme victims to the hearing and ask them to corroborate his story. Tell them to look in his victims eyes and tell them they believe little man is an honest man.

That's what happens when you investigate yourself. Hitler hired someone to investigate him, and it was determined that he liked Jews.

The Miami law team needs to get their hands on the transcripts of his sentencing hearing and see what the judge said. If she had derogatory things to say, which I'm sure she did, about his credibility, then Miami nees to parade that around.

The NCAA writes a letter supporting Shapiro only to have that same judege speak the complete opposite in his sentencing hearing.

Lets supply some street logic to this

Millionaires gave him their money= stupid
NCAA gave him reps after convicted as Con man = stupider
NCAA gave him their money to this convicted Con man in prison = dumber then dog ****.

So Only The 18 year olds kids and UM were smart enough that they didn't give this low life money, so lets punish them.
