OTL is typical ESPN trash designed to take extreme stances on issues in order to gain viewers. I wouldn't worry about it

I think Nevin is a PROVEN professional lair and that NOTHING he says should be thought to be truthful expect with iron clad proof not just his or his cronies word

Our investigation went on longer than pretty much any investigation in NCAA history. And the NCAA has violated their own protocols and processes, has revised their NOA and dropped some charges whole focusing on others, and UM has publicly fought back and laid down the gauntlet. It should be no surprise that because of all this, UM's hearing will be longer than most. It's not indicative of anything in terms of punishment, though.
 
You guys do realize that ESPN is a business and they need people to watch their shows to gather sponsors...right?

remember hating/bashing Miami is good for business.

Why should we overlook the fact he is known liar, admitted to lying on the stand, admitted to having a vendetta against UM and there is no evidence (not one shred of it)?

Miami and USC being good destroys the SECs bottom line (BCS bowl birth money). THAT is why this is happening.

It's a complete disgrace.
 
Thread title is a little misleading too, like they found new bull**** from the ncaa trying to bury us. Of course they are trying to bury us

Paul finebaum said something along the lines that other schools are skating cause the full ncaa enforcment staff is looking at our case, maybe he was talking about miss state
 
I would pay no attention to what the talking heads opine regarding our penalties. There are several posters on this board who have more insight into the process than Katz or Weaver. Those with a critical eye know that the NCAA will have a very tough time making a case for debilitating sanctions. This is the same phenomenon that occurred the day the Yahoo! story broke. The sensational details blinded and enthralled the masses, and all were quick to anoint that hack Robinson without scrutinizing the factual basis for the claims. We now know that the most egregious of those claims -- the ones that caused talking heads like Vitale to demand the death penalty -- remain either unsubstantiated or otherwise have been proven false. Ironically, Vitale is now one of those commentators who thinks Miami should get time served. Take solace in the fact that the worst is behind us.
 
The thing that ****es me off the most isn't just that he's a proven liar and they still believe him, but that he's also expressed his desire to bury UM. He's basically admitted his motivation for doing anything/everything (lying his *** off) to **** us over.

I can't wait for this whole thing to be over. Anyone who would take that POS ****piro at his word is a **** fool. He's a convicted felon for lying and stealing. It doesn't get much lower than that. If anyone on that panel believes him they've either been paid off or have a bone to pick with Miami. Most likely both.

Hope he gets his **** pushed in daily while in prison.

is considered "the crown jewel" of the federal prison system. It’s a place where many convicts hope to be sent. It may not be "club Fed" but it is the closest thing that exists in the federal prison system to a country club prison.

The Butner Federal Correctional Complex is about 45 minutes northeast of Durham. From the outside you could mistake it for a college campus, except perhaps for the barb-wire.

It’s often sought after by convicts because its staff and facilities have a good reputation. There are no hardcore maximum security type criminals there. It’s all minimum, low and medium security.
