10 per year over 3-years. No bowl ban. We are already at 10 and can appeal.

We hit 65 payers as of September 2016. It sounds harsh, but lets UM get out of it with good recruiting. Everyone saves face.

Its much worse. You can't oversign like normal to make up for attrition.

Would take a lot of work to come up with an accurate number, and I am lazy and drinking wine. It would be a worksheet that would have to account for many variables. But you know how we sign 28 guys here and there? Some come EE, so we are able to have big classes? That goes away. We can now only enroll 21 or 22 a YEAR instead of per Fall. No more putting kids to earlier classes. Well, unless that earlier class was under 22. Add in attrition, injuries, grades, cuts, transfers... what do you think each 22 kid class has left in year 3? Apply normal attrition. Lets say, conservatively, you lose 4 kids from each class over over years. That's barely anything. Its probably worse. That leaves you, in the third year the kids are on the team, 18 kids. Maybe less their 4th and 5th years. So lets say thats 18 kids average. That's 54 kids you kept in three classes. See where this is going?

3 a year for 3 years would hurt us badly. We would be 100% whole, with not only a full roster, but balanced classes with thew right amount of upperclassmen, until about 2021. Really.

Now if they just hit the 85's, and not the class sizes, we're in business.

Anyone who thinks 30 over 3 years is not devastating is dreaming. 10 scholies a year for 3 years will hammer us. You can bring in all the studs you want, at the end of the day, you have NO depth, which is what led to our dark days in 96-98. You can have talent and speed, but you cant groom the next batch of starters, and you dont have any depth to rest guys, or replace them when they are injured. 10 over 3 or 15 over 5 I can live with. If we have in fact held back 5-10 or more over the last few seasons, we then we would be more than half way done with it.

lol, why do people keep mentioning not being on tv. This isn't the **** 80s and early 90's. They don't do that chit anymore. It hurts everyone, the conferences, the other team playing Miami, the fans of both those teams. They just don't do that anymore.

Don't forget the networks. Espn's finally got a good Miami again and they wouldn't want to lose that. Miami has been on TV every week this season and is slated for the next three games as well.

Edit not Sav St, but point is...

Can we PLEASE stop with the TV ban bullsh*t. They arent going to give us that. They dont give anyone that anymore. Our biggest risk is going to be the scholies.

10 per year for 3 years?

You gotta be fist****ing me.

That would be criminal.

Yep, that would be a f*cking disaster. We would be in the sh*tter for the next 5 years at least.

Golden could probably keep us competitive but at the same time I would encourage him to leave(of course that means nothing I realize that) No way a coach like that should stagnate his career over some **** he didn't do for that long.

no way we get 10 schollies per year over three years. That is absolutely crippling and that would be the NCAA completely ignoring our self imposed sanctions already and then some. If that were the case, i'd rather take a bowl ban. I think more realistically it'll be like 10 schollies over 3 years and probation or something

LOL. In 2017 or so we'd be playing with about 55 or so. NOT happening.

NCAA does not want this to go to a court of law. The subpoena power of real court will ruin them.

It'll be nowhere near 30 schollies, give me a break. And the tv ban is even more ridiculous .The NCAA wouldn't go there with all the conference tv contacts. Those days are over.

Agreed. I would definitely take another bowl ban over a massive scholie hit. At least we could tell recruits that its all over, and next year we are done with everything. Major scholie hits will basically be affecting us for at least 5 years.

Agreed. Not even worth discussing to be honest.

I just don't want to see another bowl ban. The seniors on this team that have stuck it out deserve this season.

You can have my answer now, if you like. My final offer is this: nothing. Not even the fee for the gaming license, which I would appreciate if you would put up personally.
