The staff shouldn't reach on a corner today to overcome the awful CB recruiting of the past three years. It's astonishing that this program would ever be in a position to pursue grad transfers at CB of all positions, but that's where we're at.

We're better off looking for a one-year stop gap rather than throwing a four-year scholarship at a non-Miami caliber player (i.e. Golden special). We need as many spots as possible for premier corners in 2017, where we dam well better land at least 3 elite CBs.
 
Our two thinnest positions in terms of depth are CB and WR and we are located in Souf Floridah :monkey-serious:

If you wouldn't take Pierre right now with all the swing and misses we've had at CB then you need to take those goggles off.

Have no idea which grad transfers could become available, but going after a one-year fill-in is a far better option than adding some Golden special-level corners coming out of high school right now. We already have Mayes and Henley comprising 1/3rd of our current CB crop. Adding more of those types doesn't help the pressing immediate need.

I would take a ton of guys but he was never going anywhere near UM. It is one thing to complain about losing Williams or Richards ( guys who might of been canes) but what is point of getting your panties in a wad over dudes who were never going to be Canes? Win the battles you need to and forget the rest .
