Maybe number wise but we were never in it with Carter until very late when Kool got him to visit. Only real battle between us and bama was for Richards and we won unless I'm forgetting someone

LOL no . Richt keeping anyone after losing the whole coaching staff is a win . also when you have been a horrible team for 10+ years and you are still getting top 15 classes every year you can't complain . We shouldn't even have top 30 classes with how little we win. I mean can imagine what kinda class we will have after actually winning our division?

Lets be honest with ourselves, most of the kids that have been coming to the U haven't been coming here because of our winning records. They have been coming to Miami because the brand that this school has advertises itself. However, we now have a competent coach that is a proven winner at a P5 program that has consistently had a top 10 class since Richt's tenure at UGA. The recruiting landscape will change drastically next year when we start WINNING.
We have some studs coming in this year, now we may not get everyone we have on the board today but what can you expect with a fresh coaching staff (Little less than two months to make relationships) at a program that hasn't been relevant in the National limelight in over a decade. The only thing holding our program together is our glory years. Winning changes everything. Just ******* win.

This day and age I also would like the kids who really want to be here, but fall prey to $EC and F$U bagmen who convince them that taking care of mom's employment situation, new automobile needs, and cash stack should outweigh some college allegiance when the NFL is the goal.

With the way FSU has recruited the past 4 years, if the last staff was completely incompetent we win in 2014 and 2015. The only difference between Miami and FSU other than really bad coaching is Dalvin Cook. And with competent defensive coaching we'll be more than fine this year against FSU.
