"Travonte is wearning purple and gold shoes. A woman who is likely his mom is wearing purple shoes as well."

Don't fall for it guys

This thread shows how far UM fans' expectations have fallen. UM fan now jumps for joy when most of our commits sign. The whole concept of flipping other teams' recruits or getting the other top local players is now foreign to UM fans.

Sad ****. It's like watching grandpa shrivel up and die in a hospice bed.

Since when has Miami been a place where we owned signing day? Miami commits generally all have the same profile. Generally very quiet recruitments. Even our late adds don't troll. Coley. Very quiet. Howard wasn't tipping his hand either. Bush? McCord? Anytime a big time prospect has alot of **** to say then I expect we aren't getting him. Been that way for as long as I can remember.

Right. And those are the old days.

On top of that, when we were beating fsu with supposedly lower ranked players we were even or better than them in the coaching department. That's clearly not the case now. We're at a decided disadvantage there, so where do we make up the ground if the top teams have better coaching and are acquiring better players?

True but I really don't think jumbo Fisher is that great either just hard to lose with that team he had. Kinda like that Larry guy

WAT?

Is somebody gonna reference to me all of these past signing days, where we were flipping guys left and right? Somebody gonna reference me the numerous times that kids chose us ON signing day?

When has that ever happened at the University of Miami? Why are people treating this year as if it's some break from the norm?

From all that I can tell, it has been this way going back DECADES.

It is like Antoine Smith never happened.

Because this is the first year in the last decade where we didn't get a single kid on signing day

Simple enough for u?

So what? Because Thomas and Kaaya didn't decide two years ago that they wanted a signing day announcement it means less? Signing day has no substance to it. Your class isn't any better if they committed today or in August. It actually might be better if they committed in August and were early entrants.

@CourtneyNBC6: Despite having UMIAMI papers in front of him DT Travonte Valentine pulls out an LSU hat.
