Naim Mustafaa DE from Okie State

I'm happy with Golden's recent efforts to shore up the DL w/ Juco and transfers after missing on several targets over the past 2 recruiting cycles.

Golden & staff are killing it, imagine when we start winning and get the NCAA off our backs, holy crap! Thanks for all your posts Dan, we appreciate it....

I could see him putting on the weight and end up moving inside to DT. They need guys who can get pressure up the middle, not just hold their blocks.

Yes, new Hurricane Naim Mustafaa is a talented defensive end, but, let’s be real, there’s some baggage there too. Intriguing stuff.

And from what I can tell, there was no Miami scent on this trail until today. Mustafaa told Hawaii he was enrolling there two weeks ago.

Canes are turning into the 1970/1980s Oakland Raiders. Someone put up a GIF of Al Golden morphing into Al Davis.

Impressive defensive ends of the future Mustafaa, Muhammed, Suttles, C. Thomas, Kamalu & Trent Harris plus the bowling ball Middle Linebacker Tyler Odems

Everyone is sleeping on Jackson. Might be a year or two before he contributes here but his athleticism is off the charts.

Watch his tape. Glad he's onboard, however, if you think he's in the same league as Thomas, AQM, Mike Smith, or even DJackson...u crazy. I see him moving inside after a few years. Just doesn't have the flexibility to stay outside.

Any word from the Georgia boards why he switched his commitment this spring? They got 3 d-ends in the class and 4 in 2012, so I wouldn't be surprised if they ran out of room and asked him to move on, pure speculation though. Not a knock on his ability, just happens.

Not liking OK makes sense to me

Golden may have saved Jethro's job single handidly with this waiver-wire.

The guys their bringing in AFTER signing day......are better than most classes coupe.

Love kid is from Metro-Atlanta...at minimum we need to pull 2 kids out of that area a year. ATL kids love to b e down here...even if its sec country. Their kids perform too...Kirby is ready, Cornelius is a servicable depth guy....Eddie Johnson was a stone cold killer.

8 days ago people thought this kid was a done deal to sign with Hawaii. The staff just swooped in and got another one.

I've always wondered why more recruits don't sign with Hawaii. Get to live in paradise and go to school for free.

Hawaii is no paradise man.

You a terrorist?

Its pretty hood out there man. Big Meth Problem, alcholism everywhere, broken spirit. If you're a white guy from Nebraska on his honeymoon, its the best place you'll ever be. If you live there, different story.

Kind of like Miami actually.

And if you're on a football scholarship, I think it would probably be a good 4-5 years.

Prop Joe,

Golden is a smart dude, he isn't going to let this guy stick around if he can't hack it in recruiting and development. I also think that this staff is not afraid to put in work overtime after NSD to correct mistakes or issues with the prior class/current team.

We missed out on some DL we go out and get Suttles and Simba.

We missed out on some JUCO DT or need help on the line, we bring in Derosier, Brad Renfro and Gilbert (fingers crossed on all).
