Most Overrated Team in College Football is...

Unfortunately I haven't talked to a non Miami fan yet that didn't think we got dominated in the Florida game. It's just the national perception whether it's fair or not.

A lot of people think their defense is pretty much the same as last year (bull****) and now have the next star QB to carry the offense.

The great part about it all is it'll all be proven on the field. I'm not worried

we did get dominated, but got the plays that mattered the most. the florida game was a carbon copy of the 87 fiesta bowl. everyone agrees that penn state got dominated, but they got the turnovers and the win.

We definitely did, but you have to put it lightly on here or else you derail the thread .

LOL. We only got "dominated" in some certain game stats that don't count in the long run. If you include the two most important stats, takeaways and final score, I'd say we pretty much dominated the gaytors. As long as we continue to dominate those two areas I couldn't care less about TOP or total yards.

Lol to say Miami got "dominated" by the Gators is a joke...... it went both ways. If we got dominated, so did the Gators.

The main strength of Florida's offense was the run game and how they are going to run down our throats the entire game and we would be too helpless to do anything about it..... well Miami's Defense only held their run game to an "unimpressive" 2.8 YPC. And Some of those failed 3rd down conversions were on Miami not Florida.

How can Miami fans or anybody say FLorida didnt get dominated when Miami CAUSED them to turn the ball over 5 times..... its like when you are already known for your defense ( in this case Florida) then whatever they do is going to stand out more.

Everyone wants to see a BAD/TERRIBLE Miami defense so much that they dont want to accept what really is a very good defensive unit that shut down Florida's offense more then Florida shut down ours b/c that wasnt apart of the plan.

I was thinking about this the other day... there is probably 15-20 teams that could roll through their schedule and remain undefeated...

Michigan has fallen so I can't say they're overrated. I think fsu is legit this year with Winston. So they're ranked fairly. My choice for overrated is Oklahoma/south Carolina

when you make another team do what it is not comfortable doing that is not domination that is coaching..
the sad part is our offense played kill the clock starting in the 2nd qtr and that made things worse on paper...

as for FSU they earned that spot, who has oregon played or OK or OSU ....

FSU now has to be careful with MD...NCST is garbage but they are to FSU like UVA is to us...

Excellent point. In my previous post I totally forgot to mention that osu has legendary status among the "elect" in CFB. Last national title not given to them by Terry Porter - 1968 if memory serves.

Someone please explain to me why these annual chokers are in the top 10 again and considered Elite? They lost 11 players to the NFL, including their best players on D (Werner, Carradine). But they beat up on the Mighty Pitt Panthers, so yeah...they're legit. Meanwhile, the Uncrowned Kings of Miami Beheaded a formidable SEC foe and gets discredited constantly. SMH

I don't mind that people doubt and hate on The U, but it really rustles my jimmies when FSU gets undeserved props. Despicable.

I am on the Michigan wagon, they look like **** against **** teams. Usually a good sign that your not as good as you may think. Had they not started so high I think they would be more like 22-25 ish with what they have actually accomplished.. I mean your talking about a team that has not lost but has managed to lose like 6 spots in the polls. That is **** near unheard of!
