Most Overrated Team in College Football is...

Unfortunately I haven't talked to a non Miami fan yet that didn't think we got dominated in the Florida game. It's just the national perception whether it's fair or not. A lot of people think their defense is pretty much the same as last year (bull****) and now have the next star QB to carry the offense. The great part about it all is it'll all be proven on the field. I'm not worried
Yep, who cares. Since we play them it can only help us. If we win it looks better for us and if we lose if doesn't look as bad since they are ranked so high. This reminds me of the fans that chant 'overrated' when the higher ranked team is losing; I always think that is silly as unless that team is ranked #1, you should look at it as your team being better and should be ranked higher than whatever the team you are playing is, not that the other team should be ranked lower. This is especially true when you are talking about a close game.

Always thought that, like why devalue your victory? It's like when you lose and the opposing fans are jumping around all excited saying "You Suck!". Why the **** you so excited about beating a ****** team? You guys suck?

FSU is good, and there are plenty of over rated teams in the top 25.. but in history of college football? I say TCU/Boise State were the most over rated teams ever

I don't want F$U to be overrated until they prove they can stay overrated.

(oh wait....they usually do...)

Every team in the top 25 is overrated this year except for Miami..... Miami is still underrated imo.

FSU's rank seems appropriate based on the info we have now. They have handled the teams on their schedule very well. Winston looks to be a dynamic QB who can run and pass with great accuracy. And while they lost some studs on defense, there is still a lot of talent on the field, particularly given their recruiting over the past few years.

The team that appears most overrated is the other UM; they barely escaped two huge underdogs in Akron and UCONN.

I hate fsu as much as anyone but EVERY SINGLE YEAR South Carolina finds their way in the top 10! For the love of God why!? Everyone says it's because they play a tough schedule. . That's where the sec bias comes in because it's only deemed a hard schedule by the pre rankings made by sec **** slurpers every year.

Them and this year it will easily be Louisville, they might have the worst schedule I have ever seen a top 10 team have. Seriously if you want a good laugh go check out the fierce competition Bridgewater faces this year

What purpose does this thread serve?

Seriously, and not be a ****, but who care about FSU at this point in time? Why on a random Tuesday in September 6 weeks before we play them does FSU enter into our conversation on a Miami message board?

There are several games before that to worry about rather than flaming FSU trolls or Miami homers on this board over the Seminole's ranking.

Also -- 21-16 --- all day. We beat them at their own **** game. **** em. **** em all.

Both Pitt and Nevada are ranked below #100 in total defense. Their WRs vs Pitt were just as wide open as ours were vs Savannah St.

Oh, Famous Jameous was 10/19 vs Bethune Cookman. Not really 90% there

LSU

They may be really good actually, but they've done NOTHING to deserve the attention they've been getting the past couple weeks.

Let the media keep blowing them. Hope they beat everyone till they face us and get blown out by us. that will just make us look better. I'd say the same thing about GT hope we are the only team to beat them since all the others have a lose already. As for Uif hope only one more lose to FSU for them. Keep those wins looking better.
