Morris update

With all due respect, if Williams plays this will be K State / Notre Dame, guaranteed. It isn't that he is incapable, it is just that we installed an offense that has to hit the big play to be successful right now; Williams can't make those throws.

If we can't stretch the field against this defense, what little chance we had goes completely away...we will not beat them if we try to play them in a phone booth. We aren't there yet.

yep. that is the cold hard reality. we need a healthy Morris but a hobbled one is still better than Williams.

i love this team and still going to the game but lets be honest here, we will thank FSU if they at least use lube while ramming us all night.
 
Just play every player possible, substitute freely all **** night, dont give up, and get out of this game healthy, 100-0 or 13-10. We get a week and a half off to recover and make a push for 4 very winnable games and win the Coastal. We are getting healthy on the defensive side, and I did see signs against UNC that we can be ok going forward on defense.

This is a rivalry game, I get it, but its not a must win game. Those are the next 4 games, then we would most likely get a rematch with FSU, neutral sight with 5 more weeks of a young team getting more and more reps. That's what this particular team should be aiming for.
 
Couldnt tell much from wiliams saturday but neither can FSU not to much film on this guy other than a few check downs. this game will be close

I actually feel you on this and I understand the logic, but I can't accept it. I don't wanna worry about the next four games, I don't wanna worry about the ACCCG, I don't wanna worry about anything else other than this next game. If they maul us, they will maul us because they're that much better than us, but not because we bent over and LET them have their way with us for the sake of the next four games. We'll handle our business with VT, Duke, et. al. when we get to them, but for this week, we got business with those b$&@£es for Tallacrappy. And if one of my teammates tries to "save" himself for the next four games, then after I hit Manuel; after i've slapped every FSU fan who has the audacity to show up in my stadium and do anything remotely close to a tomahawk chop; after I've "accidentally" run over Jumbo on the sidelines, then I will walk up to AG, demand that player's scholly, and make **** sure it goes to someone who hates losing to ANYONE, especially those expletives, as much as Ed freakin' Reed, Ray Lewis, and all those cats who made me fall in love with the U.

Like I said, I understand the argument; I just can't get with it.

I understand your contempt to the idea, I hate doing it, thinking it, and typing it. But what I am suggesting is fighting the battle (with what we have) to win the war in December. Nothing is on the line now, we control our destiny. We can meet them in December with a healthy Morris, Duke, and Porter with guys with 4 more games under their belt. I see improvement, whether anyone else does or not. I trust Golden more than anyone since Butch and his 2000 staff. That's when all hands should be on deck and you hit them with every available player.
