Morris update

Jeez, we have some non football savvy fans.
Golden isn't going to tip his hat. Say u can't see Williams not starting, blah, blah, blah.
Ice, rest, therapy a few times a day and I won't be surprised to see him playing. But, certainly these comments don't mean he's out.

Maybe I'm not as down on Williams as most but he was thrown into a real **** situation for his first legit action ever. With a full week to prepare as the starter I think he'll be ok.

He won't be good enough for us to win but I don't see us getting raped.

I actually think there is a cahnce Williams can give us a little more time of possession. Less chance of the deep ball but Morris has been forcing those lately anyway. Maybe just wishful thinking.

Fisch just needs to not be cute and play some power football if Williams is in there. And design some shorter routes to get the playmakers the ball where they can run in space. That does not mean a ****load of bubble screens either.

Al could just be playing coy. Think about it. This screws up FSU's defensive preparation. Who do they prepare for? Heck, they have little film on Williams, so it might be a good idea to start him, then bring Morris in after a few series to take over the game, if he's ready to go, or alternate them to limit Morris' reps so he doesnt overdo it, the dual QB rotation could cause FSU issues trying to scheme for our offense.

And lets not kid ourselves gents, we werent likely to win this game even with Morris, so we should be rooting for a great effort from our young guys, and hope we can play hard, keep it close, and not quit. While I would love a win, and will obviously be rooting for one regardless, Im not expecting one, I just want us to punch them in the mouth, and make sure its respectable so they know the heat is coming next year, when our guys have another year of growth and depth behind them.

There is no point in playing coy, as they are gonna prepare for Morris anyways and they have nothing on Ryan Williams to study.

yep. and its not like Williams brings anything to the table that is scary for the defense. they prepare for Morris and have a field day if its Williams

Does it matter. They're going to run all day against us, shut down our run game, and force us to throw the ball. This game is going to be terrible. Maybe not 47-0 terrible, but it's going to be ugly.

we'd have a punchers chance with Morris healthy at home. without him it will be embarrassing

I told you it was a mild sprain. I told you when it happened. He could have finished the game against UNC. He is fine.
