Morris: Bone bruise, no sprain

I had a bone bruise in my left shoulder when I played. Different part of the body but I couldn't play for 3 weeks. I hope Morris can get through the pain because if it's anything like what I had tough stuff.

You're soft though. We'll see how a real man (Morris) reacts.

You can't make a bone bruise/contusion worse by playing. If he can handle the pain, there's no risk.

Golden isn't going to come out the next day and say Morris is playing if he thought it was serious.

Call me crazy, but I'd love to see Gray Crow start next week.
He's 3rd string for a reason. I'd be fine with Williams starting though.

Yes but he has more pure talent than Williams, would like to see what he could do versus a quality opponent.
Based on what? It's not like he was particularly touted coming out of HS.

Crow did have a very nice touch on the TD he threw on Saturday.

I'm just saying....

Like earlier suggested, if he's able to play he needs to be out there for at least a half against South Florida. Needs reps. If not, will go into GT game having played a quarter in what will be a month since the Florida game. He and the WRs were not a fine tuned, in synch machine vs. either Fla Atlantic or the Gators. He needs the reps, if reasonably healthy and can't cause additional damage.

Also, if Golden thought it were real serious and potential to miss significant time, doubt he would have pulled Williams late in the second quarter last night. Probably would have wanted him to get more game time.

Exactly. How anyone can think differently is beyond me.

Crow? **** no! I'm cool with a loss to FSU as long as we sweep our side of the division. Our division looks horrible except for us.

I would love to see Morris get the week off to heal properly and be ready got GA Tech.

I think so too usf sucks we win by 2 touchdowns minimum.

I'd like to see him play, at least for a half. We still need to fix the timing and communication between Morris and the WR's....it was off in the FAU game, and off in the UF game too. You can fix some of that in practice, but you really need in-game situations against real defenses to make it better. And we need to get it fixed before we roll into ACC league play.

THIS right here. Id like to see him get SOME reps if he can. I want him healthy for GT, but its also a risk, because he could end up VERY rusty after almost 3 weeks off. We need him firing on all cylinders against GT. Im fine with letting RW play half the game, **** even most of it, but I would like to see Morris get some reps just to keep his rythym and focus. He also does need to work out some issues with timing and decision making that can only come during games.
