Morris: Bone bruise, no sprain

Al Golden said Stephen Morris has a bone bruise, not a sprain. "Everything's positive ... going to be real careful with him." No swelling.

Good news for #UM #Canes: @GoldenAl just said @S_Morris17 is "absolutely'' expected back for #USF game. He has a bone bruise, NOT a sprain.

A real question guys should we give him next week off? I mean we have a real chance to go undefeated imho.

Yea those suck because of the tenderness of the area that's bruised

Why would you ask posters? They have medical people and a coaching staff to determine if it's a risk playing him.

I had a bone bruise in my left shoulder when I played. Different part of the body but I couldn't play for 3 weeks. I hope Morris can get through the pain because if it's anything like what I had tough stuff.

Had a bone bruise in my forearm. Asked my coach three times if he was sure it wasn't broken. Wrapped it and fell asleep that night. Woke up with my hand swollen up like the marshmallow man's! Was fine the next week.

I'd like to see him play, at least for a half. We still need to fix the timing and communication between Morris and the WR's....it was off in the FAU game, and off in the UF game too. You can fix some of that in practice, but you really need in-game situations against real defenses to make it better. And we need to get it fixed before we roll into ACC league play.

Yeah, that's the same guy that needed a wheel chair for a separated shoulder.
