More on 2021 class nationally

I never understand this sentiment.

if you took away the ACC money this program is dead for real.

no one on this site has presented any proof that the ACC has done anything to keep Miami down or put Miami at a disadvantage

which doesn’t make sense because a down Miami is bad for the conference.

when they started the ACC champ game it was in Miami they only moved it because we never made it to the **** game.

have you seen the teams we’ve been losing too on a regular basis the last 15 years?

they are basically glorified G5 programs.

If we were in the AAC losing to group of 5 schools, while getting less money than we have now we’d be nothing and our recruting would be terrible.
QP must have a PhD in marxist economics.

Meh I don’t like crying about that sh*t, do better..those schools aren’t responsible for us hiring clowns for head coaches the past 20 years..

Allllll of this.

“CFB is pretty boring” they say. Per Bama fans, CFB is just fine. Per Clemson fans, CFB is just fine. Per OU fans, CFB is just fine. Per us from 83-05, CFB was just fine. Per USC fans from 00-06, CFB was just fine. Per Bama fans from 94-07, CFB was boring. Per Tennessee fans from 00-20, CFB is boring.

See the trend? CFB is boring when ur team sucks, and teams usually suck from the top down. Since the beginning of recruiting, since these are kids we’re talking about; the schools that win, that pump out the most NFL players as high draft picks, get the kids. The schools who are inconsistent, incompetent, who have a lack of star power in The NFL lose out on such kids.

CFB is cyclical, and we are on the downside of the cycle. It didn’t have to be this way, but it is. Our saving grace is our name still holds weight despite our short comings; but until we fix the root of the problem, until SC fix the root of its problem; until Texas fix its problem.....yeah, u’re going to see top kids from these areas fly from the coup.

Kids getting big pay days matter, but so does coaching. And it doesn’t help that all these schools that are attempting to make a comeback Miami, Michigan, FSU, and UiF, in particular have to compete with those guys for recruits and wins. It’s an almost impossible uphill battle that leads to losses and coaches being fired. Of course these admins making bad hires compounds the issue, but it’s an almost circular argument. Can’t beat them for recruits so you don’t have the talent to win. Recruits don’t come bc you don’t win/pay enough so you don’t get any better. See Belichick and the AFC East for the last 20 years for a similar argument.

Now when it comes to PAC 12 schools And Texas, they are just lost and it’s all on them. They keep most of the elite kids home and still can’t win, while avoiding those big 5 programs.

Brother; u know we’re mostly on the same page majority of the time, but let me chime in really quick:

We’re not playing Bama, LSU, Oklahoma, Oregon, UGA, ****, not even Clemson on a seasonal basis. We’re playing GT, VT, Duke, UNC, Pitt, UVA, FSU, one G5 OCC, and one FCS school on an annual basis, champ. The ACC did us a solid & put us in the weakest division in the ACC & arguably the weakest division of all of P5. Despite our very own talent gap in our own division, we literally have chit to show for it, for 16 years, my guy!

So our coaches are recruiting the players, maybe not the best of the best, but definitely the next tier that are far better, per their rankings, than our common opponents, and yet we are constantly wearing Depends, bro.

So if we can’t compete in our own division w/ any certainty, what’s going to attract top kids to come here? We are just now starting to get back to playing a national schedule, and that was when Richt was here, and boy is that about to be a mess.

The ingredients have been in place to have a 4 star restaurant, yet we’re hiring fast food cooks. The moment we hire a real chef, which means we need new Mgmt to do that, then we’ll become a fine establishment again, able to compete w/ these other 5 star restaurants (best analogy I could come up w during my fast, as I’m hungry af. Lol)

We got McDonald’s cooks trying to run Ruth Chris.... it’s still Ruth Chris but the quality isn’t there. That’s how i feel about the state of UM football.

Some of y’all are soft af and should really consider rooting for 1 of these teams that you obsess over.

I do find it hilarious that a lot of the posters talking shït said preseason that our record would be worse than 8-2(some had it a lot worse), said we weren’t a top 25 team, (even though we’ve been ranked **** near all season) and are now taking a victory lap like we went 2-8.

These same posters will say our coaches suck and our players aren’t very talented but in the same breath talk like they expected us to compete for the playoffs this year. See where this is going?

It’s all about pushing their agendas/trying to prove their predictions right and it’s ruining what’s left of this site. They’re worse than the obvious trolls.

College Football has become SEC football and it’s boring

When Miami, Texas, USC, Michigan, Notre Dame even programs like Penn State, Florida State, etc. are playing at an Elite level college football is way better

All those programs I mentioned have been down for (10-20) years for the most part

We need non SEC schools to be better. The problem is the $EC schools are the highest bidders for recruits and coaches

The problem is the structure. It's 65 Power 5 schools plus the 10 Group of 5 schools that actually have an outside shot with the CFP committee competing for 4 spots that actually mean something. The playoffs need to be up to 8 teams in order to get P5 schools outside of the old guard in as well as the best Group of 5 school.

That’s true we’re probably more on the Texas/USC side of my analogy. Even though we hardly ever keep top talent home we still have more than enough to beat the trash we play on a weekly basis.

Non-SEC teams have won 4 of the last 7 title games. The SEC has had 4 different teams win titles in the last dozen years.

The real problem is programs you mentioned are failing not because of the SEC, but because of themselves. We know Miami's problems. Penn State just had to go and cover up a decades long child rape scandal. Florida State chased out Jimbo and got what they got. They talked themselves into what UM believed around 2000. Hopefully for them, they'll learn faster than UM did that they're wrong. ND is in this year's playoffs. They have limits because of recruiting, but remain relevant. Michigan got stupid and thought a fancy coach could cover for under-support from the institution. USC is not that far off. Texas should be t here ... they just can't get out of their own way.

People blame the SEC - they're doing what they're supposed to do.

I’ve said the same thing; and I believe my future baby mama Joy Taylor (I kid, but a man can dream) mentioned how it would be beneficial for not only CFB, but for these outside NY6 bowl games that get passed over. I mentioned in another thread a reasonable solution that’s beneficial for all involved. It’s a simple fix, but these numbnuts at the CFP level is on something else.

We're talking about now. What does it mean? If that has to be explained.......
if you can’t explain what it means, it’s just substituting for emotion in your explanation. Lots of schools pay, few win. See?

You think kids would pick TN over Alabama for a few grand extra? Not if they’re good they wouldn’t.
