Miller Moss...

Tier 1: Mateer would give us a 2024 Cam Ward chance, though hopefully with a better defense. Super Bonus is he gets two years at Miami.
Tier 2: Lots of QBs that can bump us to a 8-9 win season. I guess its better than 6-6 though.

I'm still take Emory over this kid. And if we're looking, there's bound to be better options, hands down.
USC is a **** storm and the qb whisperer is getting close to a hot seat. That program is in disarray. I still think we go all in on Mateer and a few other guys after that. The Cal kid would likely be more realistic than Moss. But Moss didn’t have the normal offensive line as Riley qb’s of the past.

Most of these dudes didn’t watch USC this year. He was their scapegoat and everybody knows it.

But Moss biggest issue is his handling of pressure, and that's a huge red flag.

Mateer is probably going to end up at OU with his OC

We just lost our Heisman QB and likely our 3 best WRs. You don’t lose a Cam ward and expect to be better next year. Next year is definitely going to be a step back. I would consider 9-3 to be a massive success next year
This is year 4, what are we rebuilding from, we didnt even get a conference appearance yet? Shouldnt his recruits be coming online with full culture and back to work mindset thriving thru program? Im still confused what we rebuilding from, dont you have to win something to rebuild off of?

WHAAAAAAA?!

I agree, but with the right QB at the helm we'll still be good. It's going to be very hard to replace what Ward does....HOWEVER we have to find a way to go all in on our defense. Guidry is NOT going to get the job done.

With a Lance Guidry defense next year, we take a step back almost regardless of who our QB is.

But if we can get better on defense, and see some receivers step up, possibly even a portal guy, we still have a great chance to be very competitive.

Defense just has to be better, we can't go forward with what we saw this season.

Handling of pressure with a bad OL is like the stat saying a qb struggles more when facing pressure. Well yeah . Just like Ward did too last year at WSU. He was a “turnover machine that was careless with the ball”. Put him behind a good ol he’s not quite as much of a turnover machine anymore.

Ward is totally different than Moss and you know that.

I disagree with you on Moss. He faltered against every halfway decent team he played. And more importantly he lost his job.

At least with Emory you know for a fact you're getting a gamer that's not afraid of pressure. I honestly cannot say the same about Moss.

I do know that but facts are still facts. Ward was considered a liability with decision making and ball security. Qb’s with bad ol’s tend to struggle then magically get better when they have time to pass. Funny how that works. Talent surrounding the qb and situation is huge. As for as Emory over moss , nah. I can’t say that.

Well, it's also funny how much better Cam was even with a bad OL.

Cam is a competitor, Moss is a quitter, and he would have to prove me wrong.

Moss raises the floor next season I doubt we see much better options this cycle

So he can still not be good enough for us even though he’s better than Maiava
Top 30 in QBR with arguably the worst offensive line in the Big 10. Not saying he is the perfect solution and if someone like Nussmeier or Ewers comes available, okay, grab them. But he is better than Mateer or CJ Bailey or Kaidon Salter, who are the most common names that get tossed around.

Miller Moss should be the pick. Can’t wait on Nuss or expect Ewers to come here who will want $5m per year lol Miller Moss with our OL and go get real weapons on the outside
