Seems like Dad is very pro-WV in twitter land... guess he don't want to see his kid play locally...?

How could any parent favor WV or UM for their child?

Go Canes

Go check out Dad on twitter... he ain't hiding it...!

UM took forever to offer. Which lets him know that he wasnt a plan A guy. Meanwhile West Virginia did.

That's definitely how you should make decisions. Choose an inferior option in every respect just because the better option didn't come open until a few months later.

but WV is known for taking all of the Florida leftover kids that Miami, Florida, or FSU didnt take. So that cant be much better. Whats important is that He wants to be a Cane.

Not when he can get his daughter a free ride into school as well.

We need this kid and there is immediate PT next season. Would love to have him on the other side of Richards. Safeties are going to have to play back or fear them going straight by them.
i see Harley maybe beating out berrios for slot at best , cager and mullins will have a lot to say about wr spot opposite Richards, remember cager prior to injury was a 4 star recruit and he showed some flashes of his talent as a freshman despite not seeing a lot of playing time.

kid was favorite to start opposite coley till he got injured

Harley's a decent prospect, nothing more, nothing less. Ideally a kid like him would get a redshirt. People are hyping him up way too much.
Deejay and Bandy have gone on record saying he is the hardest player they have had to cover at camps, 7v7, etc. Bandy covered elite prospects at The Opening and Deejay did at Paradise (JJ and Smith). Their opinions tell me all I need to know about Harley as a prospect. He is a must get.

Seriously. If you are engaged to a girl who you basically settled down with because you were getting old and worried you would be too fat and bald later on to do better, and all of a sudden a 10 who begs to ride you 3x daily comes along and wants to marry you what do you do? Stay with the boring chick

Blades Jr also said Harley was the most difficult WR he has ever had to cover

I'm beginning to think that Harley to UM isn't the done deal that we've been led to believe.

You're a vet. If it was a done deal, then it would have been done a long time ago.

There's no reason for him to string WVU along. They were good enough to give him an offer. Why fck with them and drag things out and make it tougher for them to replace you? Simple answer: You wouldn't do that.

You are comparing Benjamin's college track times to Harley's HS times. Most sprinters improve their times with proper weight training. Harley is just as fast as Benjamin.

Here are Travis Benjamin's HIGH SCHOOL track times:

2008 Outdoor SeasonGlades Central HS12th Grade
100 Meters
2 11.35a Apr 10 2A District 13 V P
1 10.90a Apr 10 2A District 13 V F
1 10.96a Apr 18 Region 4-2A Championships V P
2 10.79a PR Apr 18 Region 4-2A Championships V F
4 10.85a -.4 Apr 26 FHSAA 2A Track & Field Championships V P
4 11.00a -1.4 Apr 26 FHSAA 2A Track & Field Championships V F

Football times and track times are different but lol if you compare Harley's 10.9 to TB's 10.4/10.5. Might not seem much, but 10.4/10.5 is elite speed. Harley's times are not.

Harley will walk on campus and be the #1 WR on a spread air raid offense that produced a top 10 pick two years ago (Kevin White).

That is very enticing.

This is not over.

Unfortunately, 100% truth.

That sister playing basketball angle is like the final nail in the coffin.

Some of the more boisterous posters who accused me of trolling last week are singing a very different tune today. The more rules you have about how people have to be, how life has to be for you to be happy, the less happy you’re going to be.
