Mike Harley

We need this kid and there is immediate PT next season. Would love to have him on the other side of Richards. Safeties are going to have to play back or fear them going straight by them.

Anybody who's against Harley or not as high just ask yourself is he better then Isiah McKenzie? Now if he is he'll without a doubt be a difference maker and a guy who will open everything up for all of the receivers

Seems like Dad is very pro-WV in twitter land... guess he don't want to see his kid play locally...?

TP is 170lbs soaking wet, however it's his speed that has enabled him to be a player at the highest level, the NFL. We would be so lucky if we are able to snag another WR with TB like speed!

This. You got a poster on here saying he's a bigger playmaker then 2 guys making a living doing it in the NFL and one was a 1st rounder. Talk about desperation mode at the WR spot.

I like Harley too but let's not get carried away here. He's got program changing speed but he's not a program changing WR.

People are over valuing him because we are desperate to bring in quality bodies at WR. I wouldn't have this kid playing games that's for **** sure. All this "Harley Bowl" crap is nonsense.

Dorsett and Benjamin were program changers?

Didn't say they were. But to compare Harley to them is insane. They are playing football at the highest level. Harley just received an offer from us a few months ago and Fsu/UF didn't even bother. Let's calm down. This is how kids get called busts after they don't ball out immediately because of the unrealistic expectations placed on them so early.

Why is it insane? They have similar measurables. They were all 3-star local guys with blazing straight-line speed. Nobody thought Dorsett was a first round talent.

I don't know if Harley will make it to the pros, but there's nothing stopping him from having a similar impact in college if he puts in the work.

It's insane because we don't know about Harley yet. TB and PD are in the NFL making millions. To compare them is disrespectful.

To compare..there was a 200 page thread at the thought that JJeudy could come here. That's what you call instant impact and elite.

Harley while good and has GREAT speed..I don't know what kind of impact he can have next season. Nobody should expect him to set the world on fire day 1. That's all I'm saying.

Harley's a decent prospect, nothing more, nothing less. Ideally a kid like him would get a redshirt. People are hyping him up way too much.

Football times and track times are different but lol if you compare Harley's 10.9 to TB's 10.4/10.5. Might not seem much, but 10.4/10.5 is elite speed. Harley's times are not.

His averages for what was posted is 10.86 vs Benji's 10.5, it's a .36 difference. Why is everyone moping on this? He is one of the best receivers on our board right now that is interested in us. He has produced many times this year and came up big in the championship game, that's all that matters here IMO.

Is there anyone currently on the team or committed that's faster?

Harley doesn't have Benjamin, Dorset speed

So what? It's close. I really never was sold on Dorset as a player. Benjamin ok. Both were good college players neither can get open consistently in the NFL. I think Harley is a bigger play maker than both. Must land him.

Wtf are you talking about? For one..who gives a f about the nfl?. 2.) Your wrong regardless about what they are doing in the nfl.

Harley is in the speed conversation..and is the fastest guy we are currently after in this class. That being said he is not as fast s Benjamin or Dorsett at the same ages. BUT it many people ever was as fast as those two guys. We have a pedestrian receiving core speed wise other than Richards and Cage (who is hurt) so Harley is a take all day. But don't compare him with those two..different type of players and different levels of speed

Overall, IMO when it comes to football the 40 and shuttle is a better indicator than track....football speed is about burst and change of direction.....track is straight line top end speed ...which Harley has enough to not get caught from behind in open space....lots of track kids don't have the quickness to reach daylight often....Benjamin had elite quickness and top end..... I'd give him the nod by a step or two in a race....however, Harley is extremely shifty with elite quickness and change of direction.....which IMO makes him a threat to take short passes, reverses and kickoffs to the house.....he can also beat you over the top...

Jerry Jeudy could bust just like other 5-star "can't miss" prospects have busted. That doesn't stop people from making comparisons.

We don't know how Harley will develop, but he's a similar prospect to Dorsett and Benjamin at the same stage.

And I don't think anyone is expecting him to set the world on fire from day 1.
