this kid has not business being in miami. he was never going to play. he sucks and he's fat.
 
Another Al attrition case. How many of Butch's kids got arrested or throw out of school? Just wondering. For someone who only brought in high morals guy, Al sure had a lot of problem players. Any of his defenders talking about suspensions and ship losses from nevin need to do a little comparison to Al's own self-inflicted losses.

Philosophical question: If Wyche gets kicked off the team and no one notices, did he really get kicked off the team?

best part of the story per the Palm Beach Post:

"Wyche arrived at UM in May 2014. He played in UM's first four games this season AND DID NOT RECORD A STAT. He spent most of his practice time ON SCOUT TEAM."

I bet you go back in time and look at posts when his recruitment was announced you will find a ton of them claiming things like “its good to get a thug” and “this is the kind of guy Miami” needs. Now look…

Aside from the fact that this kid never made it away from the meal table and on to the field, it looks like he simply couldn’t help but ***** up the one big gift he had, as scholarship to UM, that would get him off the streets. That is pretty sad but it is also his responsibility.

The other point to be taken from this failed experiment is that this serves as additional confirmation that this isn’t 2001 anymore. This “internets” thing that Al Gore piloted has opened up the world as has the rest of social media. These transgressions might have gone unnoticed in the past but now they are posted on message boards and tweeted around the world before the kid gets bailed out of jail.

All you screaming to “Bring Back Butch” with hope of turning back the clock to the U’s greatest days are shouting into a very strong wind. The administration and BOT have no interest in going back there as they know the world is different, as is college football. I do believe they want to win but getting Butch Davis to pull them into a time machine looks like Michael Wyche’s mug shot to them; like it or not.
