Michael Johnson Jr to Penn State

Wish him the very best. I hate recruiting just one kid at a position like this. Especially if hes looking around too.. we got lucky with Jarren. We cant be doing this every year.

Dude picked the wrong team. He is gonna regret this choice in the future. Who wants to be a Nittany Lion anyway. Its not even a real thing.

Quick, everybody be surprised! This one is on the staff. Ridiculous approach to recruiting the most important position. I could rationalize a defense for them but nah. Botch

Everyone is not a culture fit at Miami
Lol I told yall Penn state is more like what he has in Oregon... I'm not going any further than that. Let's grab a late riser or just poach someone's qb who might be looking around.

I liked MJJ as a prospect.

But under no circumstance, even if you're only looking to fill one spot at a position, do you only recruit one person. It is idiotic.

There's a huge difference between "I'm so confident I can get a kid I'm gonna give him more focus & recruit him more aggressively than my other targets at his position" and "I'm recruiting him and nobody else". Especially when the kid doesn't have historically strong ties to your program.

This is what happens. Hopefully things work out by February. And hopefully Junior Richt learns from this. If not, and QB recruiting is shaky again next year, Senior Richt needs to call a spade a spade.
