I agree the rushing yards will be there, but the #He1sman race dictates Cam has to put up big numbers, so I expect that to happen.
He can run for 100 along with Fletch and BamBam. 🤷🏿‍♂️
He can still throw for 250 and 3 tuddys while running for 100. Use the option. I ain't forget that BYU-Texas game and our game vs UNC.

During this election season, I support this message. But don't forget, X need needs his yards also, to move ahead of Santana.
Cam should be focused on the same thing that Miami should be focused on ------ winning. His big payday is coming from the NFL obviously. Where he gets drafted will be a function of a team's view on how well he plays, including taking what the D gives you and not forcing any part of the offense. The NFL couldn't give a crap if you won the Heisman.
Right, the NFL doesn't care if you won the NC or even a conference championship. But you better believe the University of Miami, Shannon Dawson, and especially Cam Ward want to win the Heisman, but winning the game is understood.

I'd argue that winning the Heisman has been the kiss of death for qbs in the nfl. It would look good on your shelf at home I guess.

Duke’s offense isn’t good but I wouldn’t be surprised to see their WRs make some plays, with how our DBs (outside OJ) have been playing and not communicating.

Pancol is no slouch and Moore has his moments

No it's not, but it's VERY bad.

They are basically the same team as FSU, honestly. With a less talented front 4, but a slightly better offense. And why do I say this? Because Vegas views them as exactly equal.

Last week, all week up until some late steam just before kickoff, Miami was about a 21 point favorite, with a total of 54.5

This week, Miami is currently -21 at Draftkings, and the total is 55. It's a carbon copy spread.

We will not be challenged this week.
I think there is a chance FSU offense is better with the freshman.

Then you haven't watched much of both of them.

Luke is dreadful. Maybe he's going to be good in a year or two, but he's nowhere near as good as Murphy right now. Not even close. Murphy has thrown for over 200 yards in every single game except the one that this board probably watched, the FSU game. FSU couldn't throw for 200 yards against air. Star Thomas is better than any back FSU has.

I'm not saying the Duke offense is good. It's terrible. But FSU has arguably the very worst offense of any Power 4 school. I truly believe that. In year 5, at Florida State, with a coach making $10M a year, who is an offensive coach and calls the plays, FSU has the absolute stone worst offense of any power 4 team in the country.

Duke sucks. FSU is biblically bad.

This is the quintessential Manny defense.

#9 in the country in TFLs per game but only 44th in sacks per game
#9 in passer rating allowed
#6 in yards per attempt allowed
#18 in completion percentage allowed
#98 in rushing yards per game allowed
#71 in yards per carry allowed, even though you're getting all those TFLs and some sacks

It's Manny to a T. Havoc plays, get you behind the sticks on 3rd down, play on your side of the LOS, but get out leveraged in the run game and give up a lot of yards.

Also, let's not forget, feast on really ****** QBs. Duke has played Elon, Northwestern, UConn, Middle Tennessee State, UNC, GT, FSU, and SMU. Against GT and SMU, the only 2 decent passers they've seen, first of all they lost both games, secondly those were the 2 worst games they've had this year in terms of passer rating allowed.

Additionally, here are the Running Back totals they've allowed:

Northwestern (Porter) - 16 for 94 and 2 TDs
UConn (Edwards) - 10 for 106 and 1 TD
Middle Tennessee State (Credle) - 12 for 125 and 1 TD
UNC (Hampton) - 29 for 103 (Good job on him, he's a stud)
Georgia Tech (Haynes) - 19 for 128
FSU (Davis) - 14 for 63
SMU (Brashard Smiff) - 26 for 117

Fletcher and Martinez are both going over 100 in this game. And they haven't seen a passing attack anywhere close to Cam Ward and our receivers. IMO we approach 500 yard again on Saturday. 200+ on the ground and 250+ in the air, and we score 40+.
Also Manny can't stop a 3rd and long and this year miami has almost got every 3rd and 10+ down. I expect over 200 rushing yards and 330 passing and win 55 to 13

Psychology-wise...

Santo Cristoból needs to show the world the right choice was made.

I believe our Canes will unleash **** from start to finish...this is as personal to Mario as beating UF and FSU.

Pancol will back shoulder or head top someone quick.. good size and he can move

I lol'd listening to the slapdicks (Roddy Jones and Wes Durham) on the ACC network chuckle at the 54.5 pt total. "hohoho take the under" -> "yea man not. even. close." Looking forward to the commentary on Monday. I think the only way Duke can keep it respectable is if they try and play us super conservative like the Noles, just take their beating and try not to get knocked out. I think Manny has too much ego to play it that way.

Dawson, Cam, and the gang gonna hang another easy 50 on Duke if they play straight up and try to win. Their offense is worse than FSU so they may luck into a TD or two. Maybe they manage to kick a FG against us.

I got it 48-10
FG's might be questionable, the kicker had a bit of the yips vs SMU, so much so Manny went for 2 in OT.
