I agree. But it is still important to remember that there is a certain level of conditioning that we are all subject to as Miami basketball fans, and Miami being #3 or a 1 seed in the tourney doesn't exactly fit into our schema. The prospect of them suddenly crashing "back to reality" (whether valid or not) is an ever-lingering threat, so a loss -- if this ends up being a loss -- like this is slightly more scary for us than for a team like Duke.
