Miami targeting Houston's Zac Etheridge for DB coach

Mario continues his hold as a value investor in Alabama youth football. It makes sense that a resurgence in the college programs, both ‘Bama and Auburn, would create an energized environment.

I know the state of Alabama has always had good players— even before 2008. Still, having 2 programs in the national championship game 11 out of the last 16 years can only make the state more fertile & competitive.
Good coaching in that area too. There will be some battles with Auburn in that area but it’s an area that routinely puts out good players.

If I'm not mistaken, he was only the safeties coach at Auburn. Wouldn't being the passing came coordinator and running the entire DB unit at Houston be an upgrade?
I'm certain he could've gotten a bump in title at his alma mater. Funnily enough, they ended up replacing him w our old friend McGriff.

For all the people that are concerned with his departure from Auburn. Good sign that he was a finalist for a head coaching job last season
