Yes but is he @Memnon approved or nah?

No doubt. Zenitz is automatic with the “X school is targeting _____” posts.

This is one to get excited about. Proven development is stamped with Etheridge.

Dare I say I’m intrigued to see if he can get anything out of Karnley?

Excited about the prospect of our defense. Got some work to do but it’s shaping up nicely.

Freeze kept him around, but him leaving for a lesser program was always kinda weird/suspicious, especially when he was getting potential lower level HC looks.

Yeah, anywhere in the SEC to Big XII also-ran is a step down, but Etheridge was the pass game coordinator UH - so like a co-DC of sorts with him handling the back end.

Also, Freeze is a Grade A douchebag. Etheridge might've said forget working for that guy and hopped on the first train smokin' out of Auburn, Ala.

I know we need a big-time recruiter at the spot. DL's and DB's are the two positions where top prospects really seem to gravitate toward their position coaches when it comes to picking a school

Cadillac bounced tf out of there too after one season with Freeze, but he went to the pros.

Mario continues his hold as a value investor in Alabama youth football. It makes sense that a resurgence in the college programs, both ‘Bama and Auburn, would create an energized environment.

I know the state of Alabama has always had good players— even before 2008. Still, having 2 programs in the national championship game 11 out of the last 16 years can only make the state more fertile & competitive.

He'll field a good, disciplined unit. They won't put up eye popping INT numbers, but they'll get them when they're there.
If I'm not mistaken, he was only the safeties coach at Auburn. Wouldn't being the passing came coordinator and running the entire DB unit at Houston be an upgrade?

excited the waterboy GIF

Too soon ?
