There’s been numerous examples of people showing both Colorado and Florida’s defensive improvements. Both teams were *** defensively in 2023. Both had huge jumps in 2024. If you want to believe Damien Lewis and Will Harris are bad coaches, sure. Go ahead but the numbers say otherwise.


And by numbers I mean actual counting numbers like points allowed, turnovers, sacks, etc. Not random defensive rating grades.

I guess anything is an upgrade over what we had. Don't know anything about him. The only time I've seen his coaching was against X, George, and Ward. Was not impressed.

Who should we have hired? I’m not arguing. I don’t really know who the top DT and S coaches are. Were there better options? These guys improved their units but I’m not going to just say they were the absolute best coaches we could get because I really don’t know better.

****ting on any association with a hated rival as well as being tied to the program run by Bozo the Prime isn't some crazy notion. Good assistants can do good jobs individually on mid and/or bad teams. Now we just have to see if they can produce similar individual results here.

UF media won’t discuss it, but others around the program have confirmed Ron Roberts had multiple racist incidents. All coaches entertain offers, but their defensive coaches have been pretty open about trying to leave.
