I know we won’t get in. But I’m fully preparing for how ****ed I’ll be we get left out for losing to a 9-3 team and a 7-5 team that took UGA into 8OT, both on the road by one possession, while Bama got beat by two 6-6 squads (crushed by one) and lost another game on top of that.

I’ll decide if the season is over after Tuesday. Clemson winning today as well as GT winning last night would have done wonders. That or Auburn upsetting Bama but they have 2 losses that are worse than ours + another loss on top of it. South Carolina is more likely but Bama leads the head to head so really it is Miami vs Alabama

Our Win @ UF, @louisville & Vs Duke + our Comebsck against Cal will go up against their wins Vs SC, Vs UGA, @LSU & Vs Missouri

Our Losses are better than theirs but their wins are better than ours.

Our offense is better than theirs and their defense is better than ours. The committee will really have to weigh 2 losses on the road to 3 losses on the road

Really, that’s what will **** you off? Consider it a favor so you don’t have to stomach another pathetic display by this team.
 
Logically yeah, we SHOULD/COULD be.

But we all know what will happen in one week. M
Clemson is gate keeper. They are going to walk all over SMU and give us no chance of getting in. Expect SCAR to maybe be the only darkhorse who doesn’t play title week to get in.

I’d like to agree
Two losses by 9 points total
GT performance makes that loss palatable
But
I don’t know how we can expect a break or reward for coughing up a 21-0 lead

We can hope but I don’t expect it. I can see Ole Miss, Alabama AND South Carolina ……two of those three

We would need SMU to beat Clemson to even have a chance IMO

Syracuse is an 9-3 team. It’s a loss that shouldn’t have happemes, but it’s not like Miami lost to Arkansas. That said, season is OVER.

Miami also has a common opponent with Alabama FWIW and we come out on top (USF) Bama was at home and Miami was on the road and Miami had the better Game control/Margin of Victory

UF upsetting LSU/Ole Miss has been good for us.

Louisville blowing Kentucky out helps us, Duke winning helps us. I know we are mad about the loss but it’s still not as bad as the Bamas Losses and unless we believe the SEC is so superior then I look at them side to side and Miami CAN come out on top

I actually think Clemson losing today helps us given our loss today. If Clemson won, I don’t see them dropping below us if they lose to SMU. South Carolina having 3 losses and also not making the conference championship helps us.

SMU will undoubtedly lose to Clemson though and this will all be pointless.

I get it, you want it to make sense and are trying to cope. Fact is you are in the denial stage.
The season is over. There is next to NO chance the third place ACC team is making the playoffs.
It’s better to get to the acceptance stage and move on, than hold on to some hope in an alternate reality. It’s over.

They will have to decide Miami Vs Alabama on a neutral field. Both teams are 1-1 in their last two and Miami has the better loss. That loss to 6-6 Vandy MIGHT come back to haunt them.

Bama has more as well.

Side note GT keeping it so close @Uga really bodes well for us from a perception standpoint. Syracuse having one of the best QBs + being 9-3 with multiple top 25 wins also helps
