Miami should still make the playoff

100% blew it just saying they have a better argument than some of the borderline teams including all the 3 loss sec teams. Really need Clemson to lose to have any chance though. And yes I’d like to see Miami play some of the teams that already in the playoff. There really isn’t a dominant team in the country outside of Oregon.

Nah, it ain't happening nor should it happen. Better to go to a lower bowl game and hopefully WIN it. End up 11-2, wrap up another stellar recruiting class, get some portal talent, and most importantly CAN Guidry.

I kept waiting for the D to wake up all season. Quit seeing confusion in the secondary on a weekly basis. It never happened and was perhaps worse than ever in the game today.

Lick our wounds. This **** stings and it's still raw, but only the second 10 win season in 21 years and the opportunity to win 11 for the first time since 2003. I just didn't expect the D to be this bad back in August.

We bailed them out. While he as getting abused by Utah, our fans, and wealthy nepotistic boosters, were giddy at the thought of him doing so badly it meant they could get him to Miami. I swear, only at Miami.

Winning a bowl game for the first time in forever would be a huge achievement. Too bad teams like Purdue aren’t bowl eligible. Would be a great opportunity for a favorable matchup.

The reality is that we have two losses to a 7-5 and 9-3 team. Both above .500. Both losses on the road and both losses by 4 and 5 points, respectively. Meanwhile, Bama has two bad losses on its schedule, same as Ole Miss. Texas hasn't beat anyone with a pulse. If A&M beats them and losses to UGA, there's no way a 9-4 A&M gets in. OSU lost to a bad Michigan team and hasn't beat anyone with a pulse.

We now have the same odds as UNLV - UNLV!!! - to win the championship.

No way, no how, we choked today and we deserve the citrus bowl
 
Miami isn't making the playoffs and does NOT deserve to be in it. We had our chance and we proved we are not worthy. Our defense is a complete embarrassment on ALL levels. I would have rather seen all the young players play on defense. They couldn't do any worse and would gain valuable experience.

All Miami had to do was win this week and we would have been in thr CFP regardless of the outcome of the championship game. NOPE. We didn't get it done and we looked awful in our failure.

This season is over. The only good thing about the bowl game is the young players will finally get a chance to play. Cam, the transfers, and anyone seeking thr NFL draft is going to sit out of the bowl game. We will likely lose that game as well.

As I stated in other posts earlier this week, Horton is the ONLY WR returning in 2025 with experience. We didn't get any significant snaps for any WRs or QBs for 2025.

The season is over. It's dead.
