Miami should still make the playoff

Just don’t see a way they can drop 7 spots and finish outside the top 12 with the second best record in the acc. Teams is not very good bc the defense but Miami has had a better season than all the 3 loss SEC teams and Florida win should get them in. The big thing is need SMU to beat Clemson.
They should with only 2 losses and both losses were road games to good teams but they won't. Everything was set up for the ACC to only send one team to the playoffs. Maybe SMU will be the 2nd if Clemson somehow wins. We're sadly out

No chance

Ohio St still gets in
Penn St is in
Indiana is in which is insane

Heck, I wouldnt be surprised if Colorado got in

Colorado gotta win the big 12 or no shot. Indiana deserves it they went 11-1. Yes none of those wins have a winning record but they beat who they were given. Not sure why Ohio State is automatic, that was a poor loss today

Surprisingly, everybody’s favorite ESPN Fluffer, Heather Dinich, predicts Miami to get the 11th position. The appeal of Cam Ward will apparently overcome the SEC bias for Alabama.

Based on the rankings above, the seeding will be:

First-round byes

No. 1 Oregon (Big Ten champ)
No. 2 Texas (SEC champ)
No. 3 SMU (ACC champ)
No. 4 Boise State (Mountain West champ)

First-round games

On campus, Dec. 20 and 21

No. 12 Arizona State (Big 12 champ) at No. 5 Penn State
*** No. 11 Miami at No. 6 Notre Dame
No. 10 Indiana at No. 7 Georgia
No. 9 Tennessee at No. 8 Ohio State

Playing in the cold at Notre Dame should be a hoot.

Was just going to post this 🤯

We do not have the stomach for playoffs!

It won’t be good at all , everyone is NFL ready to leave , to play a big powerhouse team would be a total catastrophe.

If we do make playoffs, not sure we’d want to witness it .

Co-sign this. We do need to root for Rhett Lashlee to take care of Clemson IMO.

Literally zero interest in sneaking into the Playoffs.

The goal was ACC Championship. I don't want to backdoor into the Playoffs with this defence.

Season is over, lock down recruiting this week, find a new DC and try not to embarrass yourself in the Bowl Game.

Yeah the position isn't great, but it's not delusional. Ole Miss and Bama have worse losses than us. Ole Miss blew it against a 4-8 Kentucky team and Bama got annihilated by a 5-6 OU team. They lost to a bad Vandy team too.

Is our resume great? No. But our only losses are to a 9-3 team that will be ranked and a 7-5 team that came within 2 of beating UGA and winning like 10 games this year.
This! And honestly yes I’d love to see us get blown out in the playoff! Why cause it’s the most popular event in the sport. We all know we’re not winning 4 straight with this defense but it’s the next best thing to help recruiting and legitimizing the program. You think Tennessee or uga with first round losses are telling recruits “ooh we didn’t deserve it anyway we were just happy to be there!” The fact is or schedule and conference forced us to be perfect, unfairly so. I told you all at the beginning of the year you would have two losses by a nine point margin. Both teams had winning records and both losses were on the road. Would you still want to be in the playoffs?

Love the optimisim, but there's no way in **** we're in. We lost to another ****** team. Our Defense is one of the worst any of us over 40 (30?) have ever seen. The real question for Miami is whether Guidry gets fired before or after Coach L "retires."
I agree with most of it but is a 9-3 cuse more of a sh*t team than 6-6 Oklahoma and 6-6 vandy who bama both lost to?
