Cam’s at another level. Just thought of this but if you took him and travelled back in time in ‘01 and made him starter, that offense puts up like 70 a game minimum.

I know there's recency bias, but I'm old enough to have seen have every great UM QB since Kosar, and no one was consistent as Cam throughout an entire season. I don't see us losing a game if he had a championship defense.

This is tough. I’m going Cam and not due to recency bias….here’s my explanation:

2001 Dorsey vs BC….does Cam escape with a W (I vote no)
2024 Cam vs Cal….does Dorsey comeback (I vote no)

2024 Cam vs GT….this is the game where it gets interesting….does Dorsey get it done? (I say yes)

Dorsey had an all time historically great defense playing complimentary football. Cam had to be Superman every week…

If Dorsey played QB 2024 vs Cam QB 2001…..

TBH, for the 2001 BC game, I doubt Cam has us in the same position. Dorsey threw 4 picks in that game and is largely the reason we had to "escape" with the win. IIRC, it was windy and his lack of arm strength was seriously on display.

Improv was really good for Cam, but I cannot answer that question without knowing who our OC is.

Wasn't just him. OL played meh, Kyle Cobia dropped a batted pass in the end zone that was right in his hands that cost us 4 points (we might have even missed the FG?) and were other drops and brain farts on offense. But yea Dorsey had a bad game. And it wasn't his only bad game. I love Kenny but his defenses masked a lot of deficiencies. Cam got ZERO such luxury with the exception of the UF game.
