what am i missing with this schedule?

Outsider thinking has to be we lose to FSU and UF. Maybe UNC and then we are due for a loss or two we should not have had. 8.5 is about right from an outsiders standpoint. Remember before this summer most were thinking as 9 wins being our number.

I think Vegas is betting that Miami is going to lose to UF and FSU.... then lose to UNC on the road and then drop the ball against one or two teams we should beat like VT, UVa, GT, or Pitt.

9-3 minimum, 10-2 likely, 12-0 possible

Injuries happen. Not enough depth. Take the minimum.

I can live with 9, I'm personally cool with 10 as long as we beat UF or FSU. I'd be quite happy with 10. I'm also gonna bet on this.
 
I actually will be in Vegas on Friday and I will be taking the over. Even if you assume we lose to UF and FSU and have our usual ACC brainfart against a lesser opponent we are still at 9. I'm just not seeing 4 regular season losses barring serious injury issues.
 
For me, 9-3 is the baseline. That allows for losses to UF, FSU, and one toss-up.

Barring significant injuries, if Golden can't do AT LEAST that, he ain't the guy...

8-4 is a fail.

That said, 10-2.

Exactly anything under a 9-3 season and a trip to the ACC championship game should be viewed as a complete failure... its time to start getting back to UM standards.

Might as well tack this **** to the top. Cot dam, no excuses.

If I hear a defensive corch say yards dont matter then go cash a UM check as a defensive coord. ... SMDH........
 
8-4 is my minimum for this season. It is the absolute worst we can do.


We are far more likely to go 9-3 or 10-2, IMO, so I would go with over 8.5 wins.
