The thing about the Portal that I like is that its a rebalancing of sorts. A 2-star kid out of high school that goes to a 1AA school can move up if he develops early. Conversely, a 5-star talent that under-achieves can move down to an Albany State or University of Buffalo in an effort to see more playing time. It appears to have taken this kid longer than normal to accept his balance-point, if you will.
