Miami needs to get the #3 Seed or better, here’s why

I've seen where, after the first round is played at team's home fields, they're giving the B1G champ the Rose Bowl, SEC champ the Sugar Bowl, and ACC champ the Peach Bowl, and Big 12 champ the Fiesta Bowl. This is due to tie ins and proximity.

After that, no idea. I've read 2-3 get the Orange Bowl but not sure where I saw that.

I think SMU will 100% lose 1 of these next 3 ACC games.

It is hard to go undefeated in a power 4 conference.

Who they lose to? No clue but they'll drop 1

SMU loses a game then it possibly goes back into the 3 way tie conversation with us and Clemson. Unless their loss is to Cal, where we would hold the tie breaker over Clemson (Louisville) and SMU (Cal) and neither of them play GT.

A loss to Virginia or BC and it ends up in the 3 way tie and goes down to conference opponent win % and then SMU is most likely out and Clemson is in.

Even if SMU drops a game its still us vs them assuming we win out.

Dang. Did not know Louisville would move on if we are in a 3 way tie with Louisville and Clemson. Yeah we gotta win out

Absolutely, of course they would. I will just find it incredibly ironic kind of like all the talk about Pitt and they couldn’t even get past UVA.
When you start putting your faith/confidence in a bunch of teenagers, you’re bound to be disappointed, lol
 
The fact we are hoping to win our last two games against a poor opponent and a mediocre one says it all. Will we be favored at Syracuse?

ACC championship game? Could get ugly or be 60-59 in regulation.

We could have 4 losses. We have no defense. The fact Mario has an extra week to prepare for Wake has me more nervous.

Are we doing better? Yeah that’s nice we get to talk about championship games but are we better? Defensively no and we could waste away the best QB in college football.

If we were in the SEC we would have closer to Florida’s record. Big 12? What would be the lines on us vs IA State or OK State? K State? Would we beat Colorado? BYU is disciplined that would be a tough one. Utah has no QB but can you say with certainty we would even be favored?

But…it’s fun saying we are back. Yeah I know this won’t be a popular post. Sorry.

Interesting.

I think I prefer to play SMU personally.

They would light up our defense but I feel like Clemson has a way better defense and would follow that Georgia Tech game plan to a tee

Home vs Houston, who is playing a lot better. They beat Utah and a ranked Kansas State the last 2 weeks.

Then maybe Colorado in the Big 12 championship game?

If they finish 13-0, they deserve the #3 seed.

I think they get tripped up by Arizona State on the road

Winning is hard, and going undefeated is even harder, but I’m with you, if they run it then they deserve that 3 seed
