Miami looking to set an Attendance record

Good lord, you people need to get on social media. The record is that we have never had a season in which every home game had an attendance of 50,000 or more. 2016 will be the first time if the attendance gets to that mark against Duke.

cause we all know that if its on social media then its gotta be true

If it comes from the University and it is on social media, then we know two things: (1) It's true, and (2) You have no idea that it was ever posted.

Says the girl who named her profile after her boytoy

He's had about five..

Accounts/profiles, but yes, also boytoys.

Ok. I was wondering what record they were referring to until I saw your post. I would have expected 2001-2002 to have reached 50,000 every game, although maybe the FAMUs and Temples of those schedules didn't reach 50,000.

what is this **** record? what record ? Literally no one in this thread has explained that. Is it streak of 50k attendance ? Is it streak for senior day ? What is the streak?

It will be the first time in Miami football history that they sold 50k+ tickets for every home game. No, that never happened in the Orange Bowl. Yes, I'll be there like I am every game. West Endzone 102.

Some people are so stupid on this board that a simple concept, like this record, totally stumps them.

They're flailing around trying to see who can be more negative, without even really understanding the very simple, 1st grade level concept of this record.

I hate that we are trying to make Duke a rival game... We need to get back to dominating football so that we will be playing UF or FSU for rivalry week!

Miami has NEVER played FSU or UF the last week of the season. "Rivalry week" as the last game of the season has never been a thing here. Also, guess why Miami doesn't play UF or FSU during "rivalry week"? Yeah, they play each other that week every season.

Miami has played UF in the last game of the season several times since I became a fan.

Last game of the REGULAR SEASON. Not in a bowl game, in the regular season. Let's go back and look at how many times Miami has faced Florida in the regular season finale. Oh, it hasn't happened since 1980. In other words, it hasn't happened since Reagan was first elected. Let that settle in.

Well, see, the guy used the word " never" and he put it in caps. So, yeah, UM has played UF several times as the last game of the regular season. See, that's the problem with the word "never", especially when you emphasize the word.

That's all I was responding to.
