They need to start donating empty seats to the kids in south Florida. Start getting them to be canes while they are young.

Miami and attendance

My money is on the under. We may sell more on paper, but physical attendance will be much less. I'll be there. I am proud of these seniors. Not that my opinion means anything. These seniors put up with 3 or 4 years of Al Golden and staff. They toughed it out. I hope all of them take advantage of their prestigious degrees. I hope the ones if any that go pro and make a team ball out and get paid.

Almost impossible to do with the students being off for break.

Yeah, if every undergrad showed up, that would be 10K.

Not bashing the students (Son and Daughter in Law are alums and either worked or attended practically every game), but Miami has always had to rely on the fan base to bring in big numbers...Heck, with so many alums are out of state, it compounds the problem.

Also This "streak of 50k" seems like complete BS to me. No way there were 50k in the seats for the Pitt game, and that was ******* homecoming.

There is no way 50k is the record. Off the top of my head, VT 2002 had way more than that.

Good lord, you people need to get on social media. The record is that we have never had a season in which every home game had an attendance of 50,000 or more. 2016 will be the first time if the attendance gets to that mark against Duke.
