These Parents ain't raising these kids right it's starts with their ****s being kissed by high schools recruiting them that starts that "DIVA" mentality these kids are mentally SOFTTTTTT.

Y'ALL politically correct mentally soft Miamians start teaching them to be traitors and quitters early.... Sta got a SQUAD **** I'll go join a super team and play with them SOFT!!!!!!! ***** man up and be your own man y'all ain't raising leaders they're a bunch of pussiour *** followers just like they parents.

I got a son on the way and one already here neither of them have a choice of where they're gonna play high school ball or college.

If they do decide to go against the grain I will publicly disown and disavow and knowledge of said person and they'll have to find somewhere else to live until they graduate high school can't stay yo SOFT *** in my house.

My brothers son is one of if not the FASTEST 9 year old in the United States he already knows where he going to college at no choice will ever be given to him.

He can go on all the visits he wants ***** as many black white latina vaginas as he can stand physically take ALL the kick backs they give............... he'll sign with DEM CANES AND WE'LL LET THE COACH KNOW THAT FROM DAY ONE.

What about collier who wanted that miami offer and had to go to ucf instead?

it starts wayyyyyyy before high school in south florida. I coached a optomist team 11 yr old group...that when we gave up a touchdown ...the first of the year in game 10...the whole team was crying when i turned around. It was a score in the first quarter of a game we won....but they were all crying and other coaches were yelling and screaming...im looking like..wtf??.. we have recruited optomist teams...where parents move kids mid season if their kids dont score ENOUGH tds. Its just crazy down here...half of these parents also never played organized ball pass maybe optomist football that are living through these kids.

James we might disagree on some things, but on this I'm with you 10,000% fam...

The biggest problem we have in recruiting (besides bags) is winning over Parents.

Way too many South Fla parents of athletes that have a hatred of Miami not only as a program, but just as a culture & city.

These South Fla kids are brainwashed as lil jits that every other school is better than Miami... It would be a shock to people how much locals down here push their kids to FSU, UF, Bama & elsewhere... It's ****in disgraceful.

Which is why Richt spent the entire season going to little league ball trying to revive the idea of youngstas coming to Miami as dream school.

We have to literally reprogram these kids & their parents to stop hating Miami so much.

Yep xavier williams said his moms told him to go to college out of state, to leave miami.

See what I mean bruh that's that crazy ****.

You also gotta look at a kids situation at home too, not all the time its good for the kid to stay home

This..its alot of **** that go on down here sometimes certain kids got to get away from it

Cant lie I dont think i could have sent my son to play for Golden

I think to myself all the time. If I were able to play College ball, my age group was during the time when Golden first got to Miami in 2010. Would I have really wanted to play for Golden. But I still would have gone only because I love the school not the coach.

Y'all can thank the she Hobbit for changing the face of the Miami program, and making it harder for the kids that live in the surrounding areas to qualify to play for us. That **** left a bad taste in the mouth of generations of kids, and their parents, and handlers, that got turned away and were basically told they weren't smart enough to attend The U. We were rolling when she got here we were dead when she left!

Coached 7-9 football in Maryland in a competitive league. I've witnessed what you describe with both coaches and parents. Our league has almost fallin apart because of the terrible coaches - arguing with each other, with opposing coaches, fighting with opposing coaches, and parents. Whole divisions of the league left because teams didn't want to have to deal with certain coaches. I've seen a little bit of everything. In 6-8 football a Baltimore team we played called time outs whenever we made plays to have their team do push ups rather than coach them up. They ended up beating us because they had by far the biggest team in our age division but barely. When the game was decided in the 4th, the coach had the PA announcer play rap music and then the head coach lead his team of 6-8 year olds, who really seemed disinterested and forced, in dancing on the field. This was during the game. The league gave him a lifetime ban. Too many posers passing themselves off as coaches. That same year we had a coach quit mid season disgruntled about the team not having the success we had had the year before. Ironically, he came to the team because of the success we had the year before complaining about another team. Truth is he didn't know what he was doing, got called out, and found an excuse to go front run with some other team. And on and on...

Sounds good until your mortgage needs to be paid, and Alabama sends your son home after their Alabama summer camp with MORTGAGE MONEY.

i coached optomist this year after a hiatus. jEEZUS Christ....my team needed a reality show. We had brawls, yelling matches during Scrimmages at our own practices...yelling cursing and threats of never coming back after 30 point wins.Cause my son only got 3 targets at wr. And we were literally were one of the best teams down here...we gave up 2 tds the whole 12 game season...in the last two weeks of the season.
Im contemplating not going back with the group..thats how bad it was.

It goes way beyond kids who play football. Kids are treated like little gods everywhere today. It starts with asking your 1 year old what they want to eat. Parents never impose their will on children at all. Kids never learn to do something just because they are told to. I have 15 grandkids and every time a smack a hand of one of the little ones for touching something they were told not to all heck breaks out. BUT the little one never touches it again. Eventually they learn that a different set of rules apply with grand pops is around.

One of best posts I've seen. Mods should keep it at the top of this board. Wish more on this board were like James jacksons brother

Yep, and you don't just see it in optimist football in sofla. You see it in ALL sports across the country even in Suburbia. The **** gets driven by all these parents (mostly moms) who think in order to excel in sports as a 8-9 year old, you have to be playing the sports all year long since you're in diapers. It's a misguided philosophy and it's consuming and parents and the kids in the wrong way. To me, it's a generational thing.

never players.

Parents yelling at coaches. No in coach fighting. Just parents yelling for play calling to throw the ball to their kid or run the ball to their kid while we are up 30 on some poor other kids. Guaranteed we have about 5-6 div 1kids down the road on my team i coached. ...we talk about it..the only thing to hold the kids back is THEIR PARENTS. We literally have/had to tell the dads to back off. I feel some of the kids will burn out n lose the love for football in high school or be moved around by their parents as you cant get your way in high school with the coaches. We have parents yelling at our coaches and we had 3 recent NFL players as coaches including a recent um former player...add 2 other div 1-2 players including myself. Guys that never played organized ball yelling and telling us what to do.lol
