Miami is not recruiting JC Jackson

Id rather have JC over Harris. Him and Willis, now thats a savge D!!
If you buy the preposterous idea that Richt used up his thug quota on a third-rate backup WR while knowing how pathetic our CB depth is and that JC is sitting there, then you must think Richt is mentally ill.

Richt had a huge number of arrests at UGA. I doubt he gives two ****s about JCs baggage

Pete may wind up being wrong on this one. Wouldn't be the first time.:fox: But if Pete is right (?), this may not be Richt's decision to make.

Cant see him taking the job without having total control. think higher ups reconized that under the last staff the my have intervened a little too much. Richt has the power to make this decision on whether they want to bring him in or not. cant imagine he doesn't.

He learned from the King of that tawdry ****--Bobby Bowden. Develop a Southern twang, talk about Jesus a lot, and you can do anything you want with a college football program. More arrests? Talk more about the bible. It's simple and very effective.

Richt is from the "bring em all in and kick out the bad ones after they fck up too much" school of thought.

I think what Pete meant to say was... we started a feeling out process with Jackson, didn't like where it was headed and then decided to back off. Otherwise, to suggest we were never interested in Jackson or was NEVER recruiting him is simply full of ish!

Then Pete should say this, and be very clear and concise in his original post if not his follow-up post instead of just running away from
it like he did with his comments about UM backing off that Central HS LB Steed, after that kid's father shot that down here.
I'm sure Pete's a good kid, but he comes off like a weasel when he doesn't own his work responsibly.

This is really the only thing that makes sense ... That our coaches stopped recruiting him because they already know where he's going.

At this point, Diaz, Banda, and Rumph don't know enough about any of our current DBs to think they have enough talent. And with scholarships available, why would we not be interested in this guy?

If we aren't, it has to be because they know something about where he's headed ... Likely back to Muschamp and TRob, where he already knows the system he'll be playing in.

It's no different than us getting Colbert ... I suspect the connection to Diaz and Banda played a big role.

I don't think they have any clue where he's going, and I don't think they stopped recruiting him either. I doubt Jackson, who is trying to turn over a new leaf, would publicly claim he's interested in UM and is being recruited pretty hard if there's no truth to it. Why would his JUCO coach be involved in this nonsense? I doubt he'd want to burn a bridge with Richt and UM.

Richt may have compete control over football operations, but this decision may not be primarily about football.

I'd like to have the kid on the roster for next year, so I'm hoping you're right.

Richt has plenty of room in his arrested players buffer now that he is at Miami.

I agree also, in a position of need why wouldn't we not go after him hard. If JC does his part, we will do ours and upgrade the defensive backfield!

Correct me if I am wrong, but this kid has to forfeit 1 year for transferring without going down a level, plus 6 games of eligibility for his doping suspension, right? in other words, cannot see the field until week 7 of the 2017 season?

I think you're talking about Will Grier ... We're talking about JC Jackson.

Disregard basically all of that, and everything else I have ever said cause I am tripping on the lines on the court at the moment. Thanks Blantons.
