QB - UF - Franks is average but has more success than all three of Miami’s QB combined

RB - Push

WR - Miami - Thomas/Osborne are both better than anyone UF trots our therw

TE - Miami - no explanation needed

OL - Push - Miami’s has not been good for quite some time and UF is replacing 4 starters

DL - Miami - With the additional of Nnoruka and Hill, Miami wins this one pretty easy

LB - Miami - maybe the most experienced group in the nation

DB - UF - as much as Miami fans hate Henderson/Wilson, they are a very good duo. Miami replacing 3 starters with unproven guys.

ST - UF - Until I see a complete turnaround from Miami, I’m not sure they’d win this matchup with anyone

Coaching - UF - Can’t stand Mullen but dude can coach. We’ll see how Diaz handles head coaching duties

I think it's going to be a good game. And I'm optimistic of our chances..

The on-field x variable for both teams will how the QBs respond to the defensive pressure created by weak OL. Franks on paper looks pretty good. But we all know he's limited, and there are parallels to how Rosier looked going into 2018. I think our QBs are more naturally talented, and we have a lot of film to exploit Franks' weaknesses.

The off-field y factor will be how coaches prepare their teams. I don't see how you can give Mullen and Grantham an obvious advantage over Enos and Diaz. That makes no sense to me. At best it should be a push.

The z factor is team culture. I am a believer in #TNM, and fundamentally believe that when the game is on the line, our team will bring it. It's going to come down to momentum and who wants it more. I think that's the Canes.

why do people think Mullen is so great? he's a good coach but this dude hasn't won anything big.

Hightower is better than any wr they have. Pope if he puts it together has more talent then anyone they have.

I don’t believe our WR are better. Outside of Thomas, they’re unproven, short, and can barely catch. UF wideouts has the advantage over ours. Not being a fan, just being realistic.
You are not being realistic, you are being pessimistic. For as much as they hype their receivers up the production just doesn’t match that hype at all whatsoever. Our group is very talented too but we ain’t going around and saying we have the #1 receiver group in the country either. Osborn was added to the biletnikoff award watch list last season and is already getting strong consideration for the senior bowl yet he isn’t proven? And What’s with this short talk at receiver? Outside of Harley and Thomas everyone else is 6’0 and above.

Thomas 5’10
Osborn 6’0
Pope 6’1
Hightower 6’3
Payton 6’1
Dee Wiggins 6’3
Njoku 6’6
Harley 5’10

But he won a NY6 bowl!

Agree with everything except qb they got a HC who does well with qbs and dl. His dl evals r great look at the draft......both ols are trash should be a defensive game with them slightly favored because of the qb position being handled well the previous year. It went from **** to good for uf standards. We should improve as well but not in game one. I dont know what they have on dl vut Mullen usually had dogs at Miss so we will see.

Its not an unwinnable game for us though

You realize Osborn was on the Biletnikoff watch and nearly totaled UFs top two leading receivers combined yardage, himself, right?

Osborn is the most accomplished WR going into this game.

That’s why I had UF with better QB play
