LULZ at Golden's 500 Club rushing in to scold UM fans for thinking we shouldn't be last in the **** *** ACC in defense or thinking that we have better talent than a Pitt team that doesn't recruit from the same talent pool that UM does. Ask Paul Chryst if he'd rather recruit at Pitt or at UM.

Paul Chryst wouldnt trade our whole defense for Aaron Donald. As a sophomore at DE, he had 11 sacks and 16 TFL. His first year at DT, he had 5.5 sacks and 18.5 TFL. This year he has 10 sacks and 26 TFL and 4 FF in 11 games. He has 56% of the teams sacks, 38% of TFLs, and 40% of the FF. He gets so much attention from opposing offenses because the rest of Pitt's defense is awful, yet he still makes plays. He's 6ft and 280 with extremely long arms and would absolutely dominate as a 3-4 end in Miami's defense.

3-4 defensive ends must be true two-way players, typically 280 pounds or more. Their prime responsibility is to stop the run, but they must also have the ability to beat offensive tackles and sack the quarterback.

If we had just this one player, Miami's defense would be so much better.
