The key to the game will be containing Leaky Black, if we keep him under wraps & from hitting 3’s we’ll be good. Not really sure what we do with Bacot out there, but I would let Love and Davis jack up bricks from the outside and live/die by that.
They also play terrible defense, our guards should be too quick for them
Bacot gonna get his regardless, they’re gonna go to him early & often to try to get Omier in foul trouble, so all we really can do is try to get vertical & hope he misses. But at Chapel Hill he’s pretty much allowed to do whatever he wants & gets away with murder, every call will be in his favor.
The thing about UNC this year is they don’t play good team ball, they’re selfish & like to get a lot of shots up, so you can Defensively scheme them into taking bad shots by not allowing them to drive to the basket & force them to the left, slide & show off ball screens & give them the illusion that 30ft’ers are a good open shot.
Then the next hurdle is just team rebounding, Bacot absolutely owns the glass, he’s a great rebounder, he’s also allowed to bully his way into positioning on box outs, so it’s gonna take a team effort from Wooga, Miller & the the rest of the guys to help Omier crash the boards.
They’re very beatable & if this game were anywhere else but @ Dean Smith Center we’d be easily favored to win.
If we play on the road like we did vs Clemson we’ll win, we just have to hope UNC doesn’t play at home like they did vs Clemson lol
