Miami at UNC

Not really sure what we do with Bacot out there, but I would let Love and Davis jack up bricks from the outside and live/die by that.

They also play terrible defense, our guards should be too quick for them
The key to the game will be containing Leaky Black, if we keep him under wraps & from hitting 3’s we’ll be good.

Bacot gonna get his regardless, they’re gonna go to him early & often to try to get Omier in foul trouble, so all we really can do is try to get vertical & hope he misses. But at Chapel Hill he’s pretty much allowed to do whatever he wants & gets away with murder, every call will be in his favor.

The thing about UNC this year is they don’t play good team ball, they’re selfish & like to get a lot of shots up, so you can Defensively scheme them into taking bad shots by not allowing them to drive to the basket & force them to the left, slide & show off ball screens & give them the illusion that 30ft’ers are a good open shot.

Then the next hurdle is just team rebounding, Bacot absolutely owns the glass, he’s a great rebounder, he’s also allowed to bully his way into positioning on box outs, so it’s gonna take a team effort from Wooga, Miller & the the rest of the guys to help Omier crash the boards.

They’re very beatable & if this game were anywhere else but @ Dean Smith Center we’d be easily favored to win.

If we play on the road like we did vs Clemson we’ll win, we just have to hope UNC doesn’t play at home like they did vs Clemson lol

No chance we win this game. UNC will board us to death.

We ******* suck. 20-5 isn't good enough.

Yeah, Leaky Black has one spot on the court he shoots from with confidence -- baseline corner. He gets open shots from there due to the opponent worrying about everyone but him jacking shots up. He can make those though.

Caleb Love has come on recently. First half of the season his short selection was horrible.

Some UNC folks apparently would like to see Puff Johnson start tonite over the big 6'11 transfer Pete Nance. Not sure Nance is a defensive plus player against a small, quick team like Miami. The 6'8 Johnson may be more suited to defend effectively.

We have a shot if Omier can stay out of foul trouble. Also need to face guard any of their hot outside shooters and contest the 3 point shot without fouling.

God that game was so frustrating. Couldn't hit a shot, couldn't make a FT, couldn't stay out of foul trouble. Just one of those nights.
The Pitt and Ga Tech games will bug me for the rest of the regular season. No business losing to Ga Tech and the Pitt game up 8 with 2 minutes left is inexcusable.

This is going to be a tough one tonight. It would be a huge win for us, but UNC is at home and fighting to stay afloat. It'll be a good one. Big statement from us if we come out on top.

Luckily bacot couldn’t jump over a phone book. I’m actually not afraid of the matchup with him and Omier. We need poplar to be consistent tonight alongside pack and we cruise

Don't doubt this team. We are playing the best basketball of the season right now. If UNC hits 15 threes tonight like they did on Saturday we will lose, other than that I like our chances.

Has rarely happened this season, despite him battling a bunch of trees that dwarf his 6'7 height. He's done a great job under the circumstances.

anyone know how to watch this game, i am in a remote place with good wifi connection but no chance to watch on cable.

and UM needs to win this game to show they can win on the road, something they've struggled with this year.
