Miami at UNC

This’ll be a tough game. UNC responded to their losing streak and drama by demolishing Clemson. Now they’ll want to prove that further against a ranked team.

Disagree it’s a must win for us, it’s a must win for *them*

Someone mentioned it earlier, but yea UVA and PITT have incredibly soft schedules down the stretch. Needed Duke to pull the W out. Pitt can lose to anyone but again, their schedule sans @ VT and Miami is cake.

Us? Next 3 games: @UNC, Wake, @VT

Our schedule has been relatively difficult and we’ve responded

Coach L on Rothstein’s podcast this morning. Starts around 4:45 and goes to ~21mins.

Give it a listen. Emphasizes rebounding and turnovers to the team. Saw it in the post above but Miami has the best ACC record over the past 2 years - impressive! Hints at Miami starting to be a traditional name through all the success we’ve had in his decade here. Coach L is the best

We're 4.5 point underdogs. This is a desperation game, at home, for UNC.

Last year, our Guards drove around their bigs at will. Hopefully, we'll see more of that tonight. We won that one easy, 85-57 at Watsco.

Projected UNC Starting Lineup

No. 4 R.J. Davis (Jr., 6-0, 175) – 15.8 ppg, 4.9 rpg, 3.4 apg
No. 2 Caleb Love (Jr., 6-4, 200) – 16.8 ppg, 3.4 rpg, 3.0 apg
No. 1 Leaky Black (Gr., 6-9 205) – 6.8 ppg, 6.1 rpg, 1.4 apg
No. 32 Pete Nance (Gr. 6-11, 230) – 10.1 ppg, 6.0 rpg, 1.5 apg
No. 5 Armando Bacot (Sr., 6-11, 235) – 17.6 ppg, 11.3 rpg, 1.0 bpg

As you see, UNC front line goes 6'11, 6'11, and 6'9. We match that size with Omier at 6'7 and Miller 6'6.
