what a win. on the road again. team is getting better.
Thinking the same thing. I usually know too much about our Canes to want them on Phins/Heat/Marlins.The Miami Heat could use Jordan Miller right now....Would love to get that guy int he Heat development program. You guys think he is a 2nd rd pick up type?.
All good points. I took a lot of positives from the fact we won despite Norchard being limited due to fouls. If someone told me he'd only have 5 pts and 7 boards I would have said we're likely not winning this game. Others stepped up very nicely.I think we are gonna need Casey to give a few meaningful minutes to make the kind of run that dreams are made of.
Honestly I thought tonight was encouraging. He’s still not ready but I think he’s getting closer.
Other than that I’m fine with our bench… bench players are bench players for a reason.
Sorry but Rick Barry has that title locked awayI was thinking about this last night while watching J Miller put on a clinic like he does nightly.
I believe Jordan Miller in 2 years has cemented himself as one of the overall better ball players L has had during his tenure here at Miami. When I reference that I’m talking a guy that does it all every night to help his team win. Not necessarily talking about the freak show Uber talented guys like Lonnie and Bruce just pure hoopers that impact the game in so many ways on a nightly basis.
Davon Reed and Jordan Miller are my #1 and #2 on that list for me. And for those that know my post history I think Davon Reed is all that and a bag of chips so it’s extremely high praise for me to say J Miller is on par with him.
If we go on another post season run this year I think the argument could be made that he’s the most important player in miami hoops history.
Does it really matter? He is going to be a terrific pro. He has length and athleticism and is a such a well rounded and intelligent player. Might be the most undervalued player in the nation right now.The Miami Heat could use Jordan Miller right now....Would love to get that guy int he Heat development program. Important or best? Rick is clearly the latter. As for important, we will see but this team has a high ceiling in a year that the tournament looks to be wide open.Sorry but Rick Barry has that title locked away

Jordan Miller is a future NBA player. I love what all our guys can do but Miller is the most complete player on the team and continues to add to his game. This season we have seen him shoot much more frequently with his right hand when he is being overplayed in the post on his right shoulder.I was thinking about this last night while watching J Miller put on a clinic like he does nightly.

Please explain how this makes sense. They all have 1 Quad 3 loss. Miami has 9 Quad 1-2 the rest have 8. There shouldn't be such a huge difference in the Net

Makes no sense that during the game last night they said UM right now is a 5 seed in the tourney. We should be a 3 seed at worst. UM is a top 10 team. Please explain how this makes sense. They no longer look at point margin in the NET rankings. It’s the efficiency metrics that are dragging us down. As everybody on here knows - that infuriates me because failing to blow the doors off a bad team hurts you in the efficiency metrics far more than beating a good team helps you.
Especially since we're ranked 15th. Basic math makes us a 4 seed. smhMakes no sense that during the game last night they said UM right now is a 5 seed in the tourney. We should be a 3 seed at worst. UM is a top 10 team.
They no longer look at point margin in the NET rankings.
With the changes announced in May 2020, the NET will no longer use winning percentage, adjusted winning percentage and scoring margin.
Using the quadrant system, which was in its fourth season in 2020-21, the quality of wins and losses will be organized based on game location and the opponent's NET ranking.
The number of Quadrant 1 wins and Quadrant 3/4 losses will be incredibly important when it comes time for NCAA tournament selection and seeding.
- Quadrant 1: Home 1-30, Neutral 1-50, Away 1-75
- Quadrant 2: Home 31-75, Neutral 51-100, Away 76-135
- Quadrant 3: Home 76-160, Neutral 101-200, Away 135-240
- Quadrant 4: Home 161-353, Neutral 201-353, Away 241-353
That is why it doesn't make sense. We have 5 Quad Wins which is more and 1 Quad 3 losses which is the same.
yes, miami won last night without much help from our top 2 players wong and Omier. miller and Pack are stepping up in a big way. We need more help from others too to take the next step. Poplar, Joseph, co need to keep getting better so other teams can't key on Omier, wong.what a win. on the road again. team is getting better.
Ranked 11th in the country in free throw percentage. 5 guys 80% or better. Wooga leading the team lol.
I believe in him too. And Beverly and well not Walker....L believes Wooga has superstar potential. I believe in L.
We are consistently getting help from a variety of guys, our balance is fantastic. Need the younger guys like Casey to keep getting better. Would love to see Watson get some burn, he's crazy athletic. Was hoping Kai would be out there more too, not sure what's up with his development.yes, miami won last night without much help from our top 2 players wong and Omier. miller and Pack are stepping up in a big way.
