Miami at UNC

W

Well those who commented that Davis isn’t the quality of coach that L is have that correct. But UNC had a great run last season and that cements Davis for at least another 2-3 years.
They got hot at the right time last year and it made everybody forget how mediocre they were the entire season. Without Manek, they don’t get out of the first weekend, maybe don’t even make the tourney. He’s not there to bail them out anymore, and now they’re just more mid than ever.

I wish you hads about another 3 seconds of video on this. After Pack makes the 3 he points to the 4 guys sitting in the front row who were yelling at him just before the shot.
In this video you can see one of them standing up as Pack takes the shot.

The Miami Heat could use Jordan Miller right now....Would love to get that guy int he Heat development program. You guys think he is a 2nd rd pick up type?.
Probably that though I’ll be honest I don’t follow NBA. I’ve said many times Miller reminds me of John Salmons

Everyone played within their means.... no panic, no hero ball from Wong... that was methodical take down.
Was at the game... don't know what the hype was about the Bacot guy. Very passive for a big..Wasn't impressed. Honestly I felt that the Duke freshman big has greater pro potential

I wish L gave him more time in non conference to get him ready for ACC play. I would love a guy to come off the bench who could drop 10 plus when a starter or two have an off night. Beverly did that for us against NC State I think but he’s too inconsistent.

I just wish Wooga would be more consistent too. Can’t have him disappear for long stretches.
Wooga went foul happy tonight...

I've been saying this all year! Perfect culture fit, does all the little things well and makes winning plays. With a great tournament run he could sneak into the 2nd but he'll probably be UDFA. Could have a long NBA career imo

I was thinking about this last night while watching J Miller put on a clinic like he does nightly.

I believe Jordan Miller in 2 years has cemented himself as one of the overall better ball players L has had during his tenure here at Miami. When I reference that I’m talking a guy that does it all every night to help his team win. Not necessarily talking about the freak show Uber talented guys like Lonnie and Bruce just pure hoopers that impact the game in so many ways on a nightly basis.

Davon Reed and Jordan Miller are my #1 and #2 on that list for me. And for those that know my post history I think Davon Reed is all that and a bag of chips so it’s extremely high praise for me to say J Miller is on par with him.

If we go on another post season run this year I think the argument could be made that he’s the most important player in miami hoops history.

To go along those lines I’ve been thinking if you made an all-time Miami starting 5 he may be in it. He’s at least on the team for sure.

I agree. For a team that lacks length/size outside of Omier, Miller is crucial to the success of this team. I don’t think it’s a coincidence at all he had his best game of the year the game Omier struggles with foul trouble. If he can grow off this performance, we could be in for a special run this March.
