They aren't Bad losses, but when people look at duke's losses they aren't as "good"

If the team didn't lose focus already, they won't now. That doesn't mean we don't lose on Wednesday, but it won't be because we suddenly got "big heads."

They were 4+ months ago, and 6 weeks ago. I really don't think the voters are saying, "well, they beat Duke by 27, but back in November they lost to Gulf Coast, so therefore, Duke is better."
 
I'm thrilled with this ranking! Honestly, I don't mind being ranked behind Duke, even though we beat them. It gives our guys another chip on their shoulders.

Agreed. I hope we're still behind them when we play them March 2nd so that chip on their shoulder will give them even more motivation.

I'm not sure we should be ahead of them. People like to sweep our bad losses under the rug, but they weight heavily... well, as heavily as they can on a #3 ranked team that's 16 points behind #2.:-)

They also have a better record than us.

Bottom line is we play them again. So where we are in comparison to them doesn't really matter right now, IMHO. We're sitting pretty.

Bottom line, if we didn't lose to FGCU and Indiana State we'd be #1. Not sure what's so hard to comprehend.

haha i have gladly eaten my share of crow about morris. he's done well and i hope he can continue that into next year.
